About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Mediocre course, beautiful however
The course itself i found was not the nicest i’ve played in the area at all, especially at its price point. good for mid to higher handicapped players in my opinion. Very beautiful track however, lots of wildlife.

Course is always in great shape and a joy to play. Hope to see the restaurant open again soon.
Course was in Great shape on Sunday. Weather not so much, very cold. Was actually surprised with the shape of the course with the rain we had gotten. Did not find to many puddle short and the carts were in scramble mode with no issues.
All in all a great day.

Course is in good shape and wintered well. Greens are slow right now but still very early in the season.

Whirlpool golf course is very nice to play. Well maintained.
Great, friendly and very helpful staff. Highly recommended!
Greens
Don’t want to be too picky because I played this the first day it was open this season. The greens were very firm and they appeared to be cut nicely but they were very slow. Somewhat bumpy with the recent aerification. Some greens had some brown, dead looking patches.
This course is one of my favourites to play in the Niagara Region
Course conditions
I would have though there would have been a reduction in green fees due to the course being so wet. There was water on all of the fairways, the bunkers were full of water.
