The Links at Southwind Country Club (previously known as SouthWind Golf Club) is a course that is as scenic as it is challenging. The layout tumbles down across the hillsides of Fairburn, across dramatic elevation changes and through towering, mature pines. Unique rock formations accent the golf course and water hazards come into play on several holes. There are an interesting variety of holes that offer something for every skill level. The challenges of the course come mostly from the constant up-and-down of the rugged terrain. The different slopes of each hole require both accuracy and a good strategy. There are also a number of bunkers to contend with, their placement strategically determined by the elevations changes. One of The Links at Southwind Country Club's most difficult holes is the par-5 10th, which has not one but two large water hazards running along the right side.

This course is on the rebound. The club house is getting rebuilt from a fire. The new manger/owner is doing a good job getting the course back in shape. Give it a couple weeks and this should be a nice place to play
New Owners.Better Course
This Course has new Owners & they have done so much already. Over-haul the carts, manicure the course & started on the new club house. The staff is extremely nice which is rare at some places. I am excited to see how good this place will turn out this year..
Outstanding New Management
I played the course for over four years, have not play it about about 8 month because of some bad experiences with prior management. The new management is doing an outstanding job with the course, the green are outstanding and fast. I make it my home course again
Excellent Golf Course In The Making!
South Wind is now under new ownership and management. Good things are coming to this course and quickly. The club house is now being restored and will provide a comfortable atmosphere to relax before and after your round.
The course is in good shape and is now getting the attention and care it needs to make South Wind a great golf course!
Challenging, yet fair to play. Many holes require driving accuracy and length depending on the tees you play from. It is the ideal course to bring the player to that wants to put a little something on the line and put their skills to the test!
This course has the best customer service in Atlanta
What a great time at Southwind Golf Club. Met the new owner, what a refreshing change to the atlanta golf market. He is a long time PGA PRO and is very passionate about customer service. He has already made a list of improvements, and is remodeling the clubhouse as we speak. Golf course is very fun, fair and from the back tees very strong. Great course, even better staff that will make you feel welcome. I cant wait to play here again!!!!!!

Good for the money
Not a bad course for the money. Recently purchased by new management. Plays long and hilly.
Challenging Course, Great Time
First time playing this course and had a great time with a couple of buddies. Start time was delayed due to greens being frozen but staff was very friendly and efficient and got us out as soon as they could only had to wait 30 minutes. Course is challenging and in great condition for the time of the year. Looking forward to playing here again in the spring time.
