Bridlewood Golf Club

About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

Course
Everyone was friendly rhe course layout was fun. But course is in terrible shape.
Green quality lacking
Greens were very dissatisfying. Entire course felt very similar to Tour18.
Different
Course has usually been good in the past. Greens are really bumpy rn along with some dried out fairways. Always love the layout. Just wish there were some courses in the metroplex with good greens. Seems like everywhere is below avg for the past few years.
Always Fun
Had a great day at Bridlewood as usual. I played Masters Sunday morning and was done in right around 4 hours. Pace of play seems to always be good at this course. The only minor ding I give at this time is for the conditions. I am usually very pleased with the conditions but this time the greens had been punched and there was no information about this when I booked the time. It wasn't the worst I've ever played but it would be nice to know before booking a round what the current condition of the greens are.
Poa Annua issues
Course in good condition for this time of year. But the greens which are usually stellar, were far from it. Most of the greens had a lot of poa annua on them, and it made for some bumpy putting. That’ll burn out when the weather warms up, but I don’t recall them ever having issues before. Otherwise, course looks good and is greening up nicely.
Looking for a place to play
It was on the spur of the moment while in town that I decided to play. Look this course up . Wow for the value it was awesome and fun. The court conditions was great will definitely play it again when in town.
First time, will be back
Love the course the staff was awesome. The layout was excellent. The greens was good overall rating 9+.
Top Notch Course
Got a great deal through TeeOff for a single player at 10AM on a Saturday. Despite the weather being cold, damp and miserable to start the day, I still had a great round!
The course was in great shape. The staff was very helpful for my first visit. Bridlewood offers a membership that includes WestRidge & Sky Ranch that’s something I’m considering. I will definitely play here again soon.
Wonderful club and golf experience
First time to play. Beautiful clubhouse and practice area. I got paired with 3 regular players (members) who made me feel right at home.
Course in great condition. Excellent layout, great facilities. Pace was somewhat slow and practice facility was overran by high school kids (understand this is a timing issue).
Great course
Great course, great atmosphere! I’ll be sure to try this out next time I’m in town!
Overpriced and low on hospitality
Way overpriced and unprofessional staff. GPS indicated we were 4 minutes ahead of pace when ranger approached us on #16 green to tell us we were 2 holes behind and left. Unprofessional way to treat 4 guests paying $145 on the hottest day of the year. We finished in 4 hours and 24 minutes, 6 minutes under the recommended pace. Will go to Cowboys Club next time where you get your money’s worth and treated much better.
$145 INSANE
Never pay this outrageous price, they always overbook, and one of the SLOWEST courses around, NEVER AGAIN. $65 at best.
