Horrible Value
Greens are in horrible condition. We had to move our balls around to putt. Green side bunkers have rocks all in them. Tee boxes are torn to shreds. Also, even if you hit a great shot off the tee box, the fairways are burned and rock hard. This course should be no more than $30 to play right now. Even for this insanely hot summer, this course is in HORRIBLE condition. Do not play here unless you want to waste $70.
you don’t charge full price when you just aerated the greens
Greens were unplayable. Worse I ever seen.
No warning from the club. Charged full price
I liked it
Course was in great shape. The front nine is open and fun. The back nine you'll need some length in your driver. This is one of my favorite courses, even though I lost 6 golf balls in the hazards. Good fun!
Awful and rude.
I shower up early to warm up. I was told I couldn’t have a cart until right before my tee time. The reason was we had to many tee time and not enough carts, but there was only 5 tee time hook for the rest of the day. The staff was rude and not professional for a golf course. There’s a temporary green on hole 4 when the hole could of been playable. They were working on a drain green side which made so sense.
Overall don’t even pay for a range bucket there because they’re in awful shape and $14 which is crazy dumb. The green fees were worth it at $17 but anything higher is not smart to pay.
Please do not play here.
Slow round with groups of up to 7 playing at one time
Good Course, Terrible Staff and Maintenance
Went to this course with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Great until hole 10 when the sprinkler system got all of our carts, bags, clothes, and valuables soaked. Staff did nothing at all until we called them multiple times and only offered us a free 9 lol. Terrible response to a situation that should not have happened to begin with. Have to purchase new head covers and a bag due to their sprinkler system going off. They did give us rain checks but honestly wont bother coming back. Terrible way of handling the situation if you ask me. Beware
Great shape, great time
I really enjoy this course. There are holes you can bomb it and ones you have to hit the right shot. The tees, fairways, and greens were all in great shape overall. Some spots were a little mushy from the rains previously but not a significant effect on the conditions.
If you get out early like I did, my threesome finished in 3:30 minutes and had no one in front or behind us. Even later on I think the course does a good job of getting groups out at a good pace to allow for smooth flowing rounds.
Overall, great round, great course, definitely be back soon, definitely recommend to others looking to play in the FRisco area.
Looking good. Playing slow.
Best course conditions in many years, maybe ever. They’ve done a fantastic job bringing it back. Greens are rolling very slow but the course looks great.
That said, they need to get some marshals on the course to speed up play. We teed off at 10am on a Friday and didn’t finish until 3:20pm. Nearly five and a half hours. Waited on every shot all day long.
Never Again!
On the positive side there was sand in the bunkers, however no rakes in the traps I found my way into. Tee boxes were hard as concrete, the clubhouse has been under repair since last year with no progress. The pace of play was average and the course layout is fine but I find everything else to be below average. There are far better choices for the money in the metroplex.
