A nice looking and challenging course
It was ok. Course was in good shape, but too many blind shots for my liking. Pace of play was also slow. Two groups must of merged ahead of me and were playing as a fivesome. Very irritating. A nice course but not that fun.
very nice layout, greens in very good condition
the course was in very good condition considering all of the rain that has fallen in the past few weeks. only drawback was the condition of the bathroom. it was filthy!!!!!! other than that it was a great place to play and staff was very friendly
Great course
We had a great time course was well taken care of greens were fast. Would play it again.
Gibson Bay a pleasure to play.
We had a great time playing Gibson Bay and will definitely come back. The course is extremely well maintained and a great variety of challenging holes. Greens are great and putt very true. Great value!
Very good course with that satisfies alllevelof play.
Course provides a balance of challenges with water and bunkers. The fairways and greens are well maitained. The addition of GPS would truely take this course to the next level.
Very Nice Course and Great Value
This course has one of the best layouts in the area. . The terrain is hilly and scenic with creeks and lakes. The fairways, traps and greens are well maintained and in excellent condition. We played the white T's and the course is challenging, while it rewards good golf shots. We booked on Golf Now and the friendly staff was waiting on us and had us off in no time. We will be back for sure. A short distance from Lexington.
Always a challenge
Great course with some neat holes just watch your ball as the rough is long and can swallow a ball.
Hitting the fairways a must!
Very challenging layout that places a premium on hitting the fairways. Hitting from the rough will cost you a stroke (or more). Rolling hills lead to several blind tee shots. Very enjoyable course. I have played it several times when visiting my son, who attended the local university, and have enjoyed it every time. Will play it aging when I am back in the area.
good value
I haven't played this course in a couple of years, but they have made some improvements since the last time I was there. This was the first time that they had been cutting the greens so that they had a little speed on them, they were rolling around a 9. Not very fast but much better than the 5 or 6 they used to roll. Rough was cut but thick and the clover that used to be here was gone. It looks like the city is spending some money to keep the course up. 12 bucks off a hot deal can't be beat.
Very nice golf couse with excellent faiways.
One of the nicest public courses I've played Especially for the great price on green fees and cart.
great course
Course was in great shape considering the season and wet conditions. Staff very friendly.
this course has a great layout
it is always a well maintained & valued priced course to play regardless of the time of year. Definately one of my favorite courses to play.
great course very challenging and fun
great course a lot of challenges well maintained greens in excellent shape med fast not many big breaking putts fairways can be very tough due to down hill or side hill lies.
good course
challenging course with good value for the money. good condition
Best course for the price
This course is awesome regarding the quality of the fairways and the greens. If I had to choose between this course and The Bull (the other course in Richmond) I would choose this one because the quality is better for the price.
