Friday morning round
Not the first time I have played here but came across same issue the pro shop is not ooen before 8am even wen you thou tee times start much earlier ,the course is great if a little expensive £30 each ,great layout and great a great bar with a good food selection.
Ground keepers too notch
Played here a lot and I think the course was in exceptional condition hats off

Good to be back out
We’ve played this course a number of times and the layout doesn’t disappoint.
There was some work being done on the 3rd Fairway which meant it was playing short, and playing off winter tees on most holes despite the tee boxes looking in good shape - can’t help think these were being saved for the members. Neither of which we told about in the shop. That’d have been courteous.
The other down side were the greens. All in pretty poor shape; sandy, slow and very bobbly. Disappointing seeing it’s been closed for months.
Will play again but not for a month or so.
Dry day
Couple of holes being upgraded and tea boxes mats but the coarse is in great condition otherwise and for the price paid well worth a round.
What a course!
Loved it, lovely course, some excellent holes, punishing if hit the rough but rewarding if you can play clean and hit the fairways
Poor communication
Only 6 holes were open! I understand that bad weather at this time of year is unavoidable and would have expected temporary greens/tees and maybe the odd hole out of action. However to have just 6 accessible with no warning when booking through GolfNow or when the club confirmed the booking was very disappointing. The holes that were open were in very good condition considering the weather and we were able to go round twice, but the price was not significantly reduced from the normal fees for a full 18
Disappointed
1. Got there to be told the first 2 holes were closed but they were still happy to take our money before hand without any warning of this and there was no refund
2. The course was in shocking condition , wet through for the time of the year , fairways and greens hadn’t been cut , might as well have gone to play a municipal for half the price
3. The staff in the pro shop weren’t friendly and seemed miserable
Overall disappointed
A quagmire in September
This was very poor value. Summer prices for winter conditiond. Mud everywhere. Hard to be reminded of winter golf in September!
Cookrige golf
Had a great day at Cookridge golf course, fairways and greens were in top condition (credit to the green keepers) staff and other players were very nice, my son and I will be returning, thanks cookrige Hall for the nice day. Shaun&shaun jr
Great course, fun to play.
A really good course which makes you hit every club in the bag. Some really nice feature holes as well.
Avoid like the plaugue
Called up to book 2 separate rounds over two days, advised can only book online and pay in advance. Not happy but reassured I would be refunded if we needed to. Shelled out £150 to do this.
Phone call on day one, advised no carts or trolleys allowed so took rebook for following week.
The 2nd round received same phone call but this time playing partners cannot play so asked for refund.
Spoke to graham who palmed me off woth a phone number for golf now.
Still not got my refund.
Cookridge hall is a joke, the course is waterlogged in July so you can’t take a trolly and they insist on advance booking and don’t refund your cash.
I would recommend wike or leeds golf club as a similar quality of course without the hassle (both can be booked without advance payment)
Avoid cookridge at all costs!
