Good value for money

Really good value for money. Plenty of out of bounds hazards which were easily found, bunkers need abit of work. Greens were nice and fairways were cut...... No frills golf at a snip price wise.......last hole is a killer though!!! Will return definitely

First time playing here (sunday)

Winter golf and on a Sunday too, 3 days of fair weather and the course played great even off the mats. Beautiful down hill par 3 (think it's 6th) and a monster uphill par4 9th which plays like a par 5.
Will be playing again in summer.

Great value for money

Set in a lovely location this 9 hole course was perfect for our first round of the year. The tricky greens were in good condition and we greatly enjoyed our afternoon.

Good course for the money.

Very good course and greens were in amazing conditions. Weather did make it slightly boggy on some fairways but usually always in great conditions. A fantastic course for the money but has some very challenging hills. Overall though a great course for beginners.

Tough but satisfying!

I imagine this course is particularly dependent on the conditions, given the gradients on at least four of the fairways - but even in the fairly muddy autumn conditions we were playing in, this course was an excellent and satisfying challenge.

Be prepared for some quite tough climbs, but also some gorgeous views across and along the Tong Valley. It’s a well balanced nine or eighteen holes and I would happily recommend.

Failed

This was the first time I played the cars as I was turning off on the first tea I noticed somebody on the green at the bottom and then when I got closer or somebody doing some work on the green so I couldn’t play onto the green he told me you can either play on the bit that there are just missed a whole so I missed the whole then I play the second and the third and when I got to the fourth I couldn’t play on this one either because I was working on the green I think this was very poor

Decent course

Very decent course, I found it difficult with how hilly it was but apart from that it was a lovely course.

Challenging and quiet

played for first time and had very low expectations for £10. The course however was challenging, with tight fairways and difficult elevations.
We only saw 5 other playing the course when we played (teed off at 9.30am).
The greenkeepers were helpful, friendly and the course was kept to a good standard.
I llayed PGA Pro course at the belfry the week before and the fairways at fulneck were in better condition.
I look forward to playing this course again.

Good value

Booked the round through Golf Now for £11 so cant really complain at the price. It’s a short course but has some interesting holes. A lot of the greens are sloped as the course is very hilly which adds some challenge if you end up putting down hill. The course does have some public footpaths running through so had to wait on some holes for walkers to move clear of the course but no big deal and not a fault of the course. Greens were very soft when I played so had a lot of plugged balls but were in very good condition. Didn’t encounter any staff but the members were friendly. The last hole is hard work as the walk up to your second shot takes it out of you. Overall it was a nice round and would recommend the course.

A real Gem

Second time I have played this course. You need accuracy of the tee to avoid the trees, stamina for the hills & strategy to for the best option on each hole. My playing partners first time really enjoyed it. Will go again.
