Welcoming club in good nick
From the welcoming and helpful pro to the well deserved pint in the bar, we enjoyed our visit. Fellow high-handicappers should find the course a fair challenge. It's well maintained and we came away feeling that we had made a good choice.
Smashing course.
Delightful course. Well maintained. Some very nice holes to test your ability. Friendly bar staff, friendly members. Lovely bacon & egg bap before round. Welcoming Pro in the shop. Will definitely return and am very happy to recommend Holsworthy.
Fun in the mud
Lovely well laid out course that would have been thoroughly enjoyable had it not been for the heavy rain and saturated conditions..
Great Value!
Played the course for £12.00, which I thought was a bargain! Ground conditions were quite wet, so no run, which made the course play quite long. However, the course was in pretty good condition.
Greens were poor
The greens could do with some work on them. They have been hollow tyned but have patches and lumps and bumps.
It’s a course with grassed mounds of earth on fairways and around the greens which can leave you with a difficult lye.
Amazing Conditions brilliant greens
Unbelievable value for this course. It was in amazing condition even with a lot of recent rain. The greens were stunning and the course was in top condition throughout. Good size clubhouse with nice bar and pro shop. Definitely a course not to miss.
Holsworthy
Great course I would highly recommend a game there.
Excellent and friendly course
Played in light showers but course and greens all in excellent condition. Couple of challenging holes for us as beginners and one or two tees difficult to find (friendly help from the locals). Otherwise, good number of attractive long holes with wide fairways.
Bar service and food on the terrace excellent.
All in all a very successful day.
