Some really good holes but shared with dog walkers
On holiday and needed a course to play - Course has some really nice holes but in general requires tidying up. Some greens were in very poor condition. Biggest negative with the course is the fact that it is shared park land and so has many many dog walkers on the course (probably more than golfers during our round). Glad we played it but wont be returning
Good test !
I really like the course , good value , great staff ,
It’s a good golf test from start to finish !
Undulating golf course
A wonderful course ,
Undulating fairways , quality greens !
Many challenging holes and good value .
A really great day !
Nice course, slow greens
Lovely setting , nice tree line, some green in poor condition but most ok, fairways need some tlc, but.great value
Some lovely holes.
Some nice holes, but the tone was set on the first tee when dog walkers walked across the front of the tee mid swing. In fairness most of the walkers were curtious there were a few totally oblivious to the surrounding which made it dangerous at times.
Staff were helpful pre game but slow play during the game would have benefited from a course ranger. For example we had 3 groups waiting on the tee.
I'm hoping that was a one off, we will give it another chance next time we are in the Bournemouth area.
Queens Park
Some since I have played the course and generally good. What was very disappointing, was the lack of sand in the bunkers.
Great layout. Shame about condition
The course is a public park, so beware of children and dog walkers on every hole. Lots of GUR and generally a very dry, arid course. Greens are well kept though.
It is a good course for the price you pay and it has much potential.
It must be very frustrating for clubmembers and golf visiters that there is no real clubhous any more.
I am sure this will have influance on the choice of becoming a member of this golfclub and it does not invite golfers for a drink after their round.
Weather
The weather is improving and so is the golf course, the fairways and green are looking good.
March time golf
The overall condition is not too bad considering the weather that we’ve had. The course needs ball cleaners as the only place is on the first tee., on the 10th would be good.
QP golf
Fairly dry for this time of year, one of the driest around the area. It could be maintained a lot better. The bunkers especially should be checked daily as they are really bad, some of them have a lot of dog pooh in them, certainly more than a days worth and they need raking over. Most of them don't have rakes,.
QP golf
A good course summer or winter. In the winter the fairways are not too wet and the greens are dry. The bar has a good view down the fairway of the first hole.
Challenging course
Great and challenging course but sadly ruined by local non golfers. Teed off early on a Sunday - don’t mind a dog walker or two , even ten or so but no politeness by them whatsoever. Rude, slow and put themselves in danger, three times our group had balls picked up and taken by dogs. No apologies from walker - just laughed.
