Bonita National Golf & Country Club

This is a new course in great condition. It is fun to play, except for slow play. We had a group in front of us having a very bad golf day and they were slow too. We had to call the pro shop from #14 after we had played the first 4 holes on the back in 90 minutes. These guys were horrible golfers and never even thought of letting us play through. Someone came out and the group told him they were only one hole behind. Still no relief. Finally, we got rained out. I would try the course again and hope the staff gets better at correcting slow play.

First time playing National, it was great. The course was in terrific shape considering the lack of rain, when we played. The greens were like pool tables. They were so fast I was afraid to putt. But they were perfect. The course was pretty open and very fair. The staff was off the charts nice.
The course reminded me a lot of River Hall which is another one of my favorites. I look forward to playing this course again now that I've seen it. I imagine it's in even better shape after all of the rain we've had. I look forward to my next round at National, highly recommend.

Greens very hard bot for a new course they were in great shape

Course was in good condition. Very plain course layout. Straight up and back with not much interest. Fairway wide and open. Lots of room between holes. Had to dodge some construction activity.

I just moved from Florida's east coast into The Village Walk down the street from Bonita National and this was my first round here. What a pleasant surprise I had finding this course right down the street! I was greeted by a very friendly staff that promptly took our bags and loaded up our cart. We were directed to the starter next to the driving range and practice area before we were paired up with a very nice couple vacationing from Germany. The pace of play was very nice and I didn’t feel pushed or slowed down throughout the entire round. This is a new gated community still in the process of building new homes and condos but the construction did not take away from the beautiful condition of the fairways and greens. There is plenty of water hazards on this course but the fairways were plenty wide enough to ovoid it if you didn’t want to challenge the hazards. Once on the green we were thrilled by the condition and the speed. The greens rolled true and were in fantastic shape. If I had to give one negative comment it would be the lack of drinking water on the course and I’m sure when the construction is over that will be taken care of too. I'm thrilled to be a neighbor of this course and can't wait to play it again! CHEERS!

This was the second time my wife and I played Bonita National and we found it just as enjoyable as the first experience. The course was fairly quiet so the starter let us go out early and we completed our round in under 3 hours. The course was in excellent condition and looks to have been there for many (rather than 3) years! The only giveaway was the house building work that is ongoing but it was not obtrusive and didn't impact on our enjoyment. We'll be back.

I have really enjoyed playing this golf course, challenging with a lot of water on some holes but the fairways are wide, so you can manage it

I got some troubles with putting as I did not find the right speed on the green : 39 putts
But I will come back for sure

Went on a short weekend golf trip with some of the guys and stumbled across Bonita National. All I can say is - I'll be back in the fall when I'm back in the fort myers area. Everything was top notch and the course layout was great. I would recommend this course to anyone!!

Great golf experience. Beautifully manicured course, good distance. Challenging greens. The natural setting alone makes this course a must play.

Yesterday was the second time I played Bonita National. We got a 2:10 tee time. They put us behind 2 foursomes who had their own tournament. We were the last ones in at 7:15! Pro should have known. The bag boy knew how these guys play. No Marshalls and hardly any water on the course. It was 90 degrees! Terrible experience.

Pleasant course with true greens and wonderful conditions. I have played this course several times and the pace of play has always been good. Large gators to see.

Challenging but not unreasonable. Course in very good condition. Noisy and substandard gas carts, which they said will be replaced soon. No complaints about course.

Overall course was very good. You have to keep in mind that the housing development is still on going and probably will be for several more years, although, I didn't really reflect on how I played.
The speed of play was very good.
Since the construction is still on going there are signs posted to guide you to your next tee, only problem, not enough signs and some hidden by construction materials and equipment. I was fortunate to be playing with a resident for the first nine holes.
Make sure you ask the Starter where the pin placements are. 1,2 or 3 it will help. Greens are big and flags are same color.
Price is a little steep for a new course especially with the construction but overall I enjoyed it and will definitely play it again.
Beware, Greens roll true and fast and in great shape.

2 year old course in newer big subdivision development. Lots of construction going including new clubhouse. Big brawny course, generous drriving areas, holes tighten up for second shots into the greens. Some of the better greens we've seen in SW FL this spring. Course overall in great shape.

It was a great round of golf. Great layout. Some hidden hazards for first time playing the course so playing with someone who knows the course is invaluable. Fair test of golf.... fairways and tee boxes were manicured to perfection. Greens were fast but as true as any other course I have played in south Florida. Pace of play was awesome. 3 hours and 40 minutes on a Saturday!!

Fast and true greens. Traps in great shape and most housing is well out of play. Challenging but not reduculously. A lttle pricy but range balls included : )

Great course, but pay attention to fairway layout / hazards.
Greens are sloped and break in every direction...very challenging..

Aqua Range.
Balls in fairway will run a long way.
Pace of play was excellent.
