Happy Golfer
The green were well maintained. There were times the location of my golf made it difficult for me to read the greens. I really enjoyed the course.
Great value,Great course
One of my favorite courses in the central valley.
Staff is always friendly, course is always in great condition. When you consider this is a muni course that's a great achievement. When compared to the muni courses in Modesto; Manteca is like a country club, from the grounds to the clubhouse, great place to play. Course is narrow with an abundance of trees. Rewards accuracy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good game at a fair price
Relaxing
Don't know if we got lucky or not but they weren't overbooked and it was nice being able to take our time and work on some issues . The coarse was laid out nice and in good condition. It is on my favorite list. Lots of fun!
Nice, This course just might be my home course soon
For a public course they keep this course in excellent shape. Was a little slow this weekend, but still only a 4 1/4 hour round. Plan to play there a lot more. Watch out for the water gods, they like golf balls.....just saying
Plush, green course
Very nicely maintained grounds. Enjoyed the course a lot. Two areas of improvements that would make it outstanding in every respect: 1. Signage can use improvement. It was not always clear which way to go to find the "next" hole. 2. Cart path could use improvement. Maybe if the cart path were more clearly marked it would be easier to find one's way.
These items impacted the pace-of-play a bit. But, it was still a fun afternoon at this course.
great course....
We enjoy playing the course... The only down side is a lot of people playing that day so the pace was not very good... But over all the experience was good...
Great muni course for the price
Great course to play. Has some very challenging holes. Very well maintained. Only down side is there is no cart with drinks driving around the course.
Challenging and Enjoyable
Great value, friendly staff, and reasonable time. It is an Old Style course, a few dog legs with lots of Mature trees bordering fairways. Ball flight not distance is KEY here! Two par fives are Birdiable, while the third hole, a par four is the most difficult! Don't be disappointed with a Bogey here! Lots of opportunities to make that stroke back!
great value
I love playing at this course. There are a lot of trees, so bring your low trajectory shots in case you miss the fairways. The staff is very friendly.
Great Value
It is a great course for a muni. For a hacker like me, the holes that run down the road are a little mentally challenging but it is fun.
Nice course, good location, feels rushed
The course is always well maintained, the staff are friendly and the over all experience is pleasant, *if* you're a low handicapper. If you're a high handicapper like me it always seems to feel rushed at this course. I'm a high handicapper and sometimes take time to play a hole. Only at this course does that seems to be an irritant for some. I've played other courses that are more challenging and other players seem more supportive of "newbies".
Manteca who would of thought
This was my 2nd time playing here, and I will be back. I like the challenge of this course. The course itself seams small, but the challenge comes from looking for your errant shots. A must play if your in the area.
flat but narrow with distance. Have some difficulty but not too unreasonable.
Flat and long with narrow fairway. I will come back to play this course again with my friends.
Great Golf
Myself and a friend played this course through a deal we got through Golfnow.com. The course was in great condition and green played moderate to well. Overall a great day in the sun
Walkers were slow, ruff was to tall and the green are not smooth
I liked the course but had to wait for walkers to get to there balls, slow play. If you missed the fairway it was hard to find your ball , wich makes for slow play also. The putting Greens were very bumpy that makes it hard to make putts when the ball rolls off it's line due to bumps on the green.
I play this course quite often.
I play the Manteca course two or three times a week & it is usually in pretty good shape. You have to hit the ball fairly straight to stay out of the trees. If you can stay in the fairways, the course can be fairly easy. Once you get in the trees, your day of golf gets much more difficult. The only problem is that they seem to over water the greens, so in the afternoon they become fairly bumpy which makes putting somewhat frustrating when your ball will not hold its line.
Manteca Park Golf Course
Nice course, easy to get to, nice equipment, and course was in good condition.
HIDDEN JEM
My first time here but I very pleased on my overall experience that I will be back here again soon. The length was a bit short but sure makes up for the narrow tree lined fairways to make it evenly challenging.
