The Pearl Golf Links - North Course

Visiting here from San Diego. Didn’t know what to expect when I arrived but I was pleasantly surprised to find the course in decent shape and not too crowded. Had a fun round on the West/ East configuration.

Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Pace of play was ok. Staff was awesome. Overall a fun round.

I really enjoyed my round the Pearl, course was in great shape. I was paired with two older fellows and we got along great. I played the whites and they played reds, no problem either way. Only issue I had is that i booked the day before and they only had a single spot available, when i got there I was the third, had they offered two spots in the group my wife would have played.

Still a great time.

This was our last course of three for trip. This place was further drive but well worth it. Great friendly staff and course was in good shape and greens were excellent for this early. We played West and East 9. Definitely will play here again if we visit.

Had a great time playing The Pearl. Overall everything was great. The only reason I rated staff friendliness a 3 is because the guy behind the counter in the pro shop had no personality. This is the first one you meet and I guess I had just expected a friendlier person greeting up. Otherwise everyone else was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Love the layout of all the 9’s great challenge on any side would recommend to anyone!

The good, nice lay out,, nice greens, friendly staff, good location.

The bad, Carts sucked, cart paths horrible, pace of play good until they put out a very slow foursome at the turn.

Not sure I'd play again due to the BAD.

So many to chose from in N Mrytle Beach but the Pearl holds up nicely. 27 holes, played the west 9; to the east 9. I like the lay out, some real nice golf holes. Two real cool par 5's on the west course. Definitely enjoyed the round. Would definitely go back. The staff was very friendly.

The Pearl Golf Links probably was a great course some years ago. The layout is good. But the current conditions are not. I know the weather has something to do with it but anytime I see green paint around the fringes scares me. There is literally NO GRASS to play from around the greens. I understand the overseed but the fairways are so sparse you have a tough time finding a lie and pitching from 15 yards in is impossible from hard pan. The staff was great. The pace of play was really good. the carts were pretty beat up. Quite a bit of hidden water over hills that you can't see and end up losing a ball after a good shot.
Sadly, you can go literally across the street and find a really nice course at Thistle..fir less money.

Really didn't like almost anything about the course.

Course was in very good shape for February. Pretty course and very fair.
