Great value golf course
Friendly place to get together and enjoy a nice course.
sbcc
love the folks there have always been great, food is wonderful and good value. fairways could be improved.Greens are in great shape
greens in very poor shape, fairways are weed patches
Was a nice course years ago, now its a cow pasture
The course was good with friendly staff!
I was in town for the holidays and needed a good price to take my family out for a round of golf and it was worth the price!
Like home
Sb is not the nicest course but it is the best for the money. The tee boxes and greens are not in the best shape but there not the worst. The staff is really friendly and I'm even thinking about joining the men's club. Only $50 dollars a year, that's not bad. So , if you are new to golf. SB is a good place to start.
Great Value for the Money
Value for the money is great. This is a fun and affordable course. Finding holes may be confusing at times but all in all we truly enjoyed the course, I had a horrible game but I have those everywhere I go.
Best kept secret in inland empire
Amazing staff very friendly. Asked for tips on playing course from mgr. Frannk could not have been more friendly. We'll maintained well managed great deal
It is a fun course to play. Has water hazards that keep you alert to your surroundings.
Friendly people and courteous to boot. The course was in good condition for this time of the year. Good weather to help the nice day.
The course is in great condition
It played good and the staff are really nice and attentive! I would suggest this course to anyone and everyone! Had a great time!
COURSE KNOWLEDGE OF GREAT VALUE
Generally not interested in golf in this area due to winds but I found one of those calm days and was amazed at a fast paced 3.5 hour round on a Sunday! Enjoyed some unique holes on a course filled with lots of mature trees. Short rough but trees require some low shots and if you do not know the course you will be scrambling. Really had fun paired up with a helpful local golfer who was able to keep me out of some of the challenges.
Glad a tried a new course.
Old course, but fun.
I play San Bernardino a few times a month. A straight driver is very beneficial, that's not me, most fairways a tree lined with old mature trees. Since it's a old course, the fairways are pretty bumpy just riding in a cart. They don't cause any problem to the game, just on my back. The greens are slow, but well maintained. It's not a very difficult course with a slope of 108 from the white tees, but fun. I get some good deals from Golfnow, so I continue to play several times a month. Usually after having a few bad day on the other courses I normally play, I'll come here to boost my confidence. Like I said, it's not the difficult, but fun.
Good price, course conditions could be better, but overall I had a great time.
1st time played this course. I have to say the course conditions could improve, greens are little bumpy but other than that everything is good. I played on Sunday and the pace of play are perfect. Not too crowded and the staffs are friendly. Not to mentions the price was great. I had a great time here. Definitely will come back again.
Terrible Greens
Apparently the greens are under repair or have had some problems. It looked like the greens had been recently aerated and many of them had areas that were spotty and brown. The texture was like a mini shag rug and the ball bounced all the way to the hole, it did not roll purely like it should. This made it impossible to play any kind of line with your putts. All of the greens were like this which made our round of golf quite frustrating. Our group from Big Bear Lake will not be coming back here anytime soon.
All things considered, this course is a challenge and a good value.
Overall happy with course conditions. Staff at check-in were very friendly and the one course marshall could have been a bit more helpful.
overgrown
Haven't been here for years. But, because the course is very short, most fairways are not very wide. There are many large trees that are now so overgrown that there is virtually no fairway left to land on. I must have been behind or under at least 5 trees after hitting good tee shots that were still in the fairway. A little pruning of the trees would really enhance the playability of the course. Good course for beginners.
Nice change of pace
I have played this course a few times but I enjoy taking friends there for a change of pace. We all enjoy trying out a new course now and then. The staff and course are almost alway the same, nice and in good shape for the price and location.
Worst course in the IE
The course is never maintained. The price is ridiculous for what you get. The sewage treatment plant right next to the course makes it smell like human feces- especially when there's a breeze downwind. They NEVER offer good deals on GolfNOW compared to Yucaipa or Shandin Hills. DO NOT PLAY HERE - TERRIBLE COURSE!
This a great course to challenge your game
The pace of play was excellent. Course is great for the price.
Fun and challenging for intermediate players.
An exceptional course for an affordable price. Accuracy is more important than hitting distance which will test anyones scramble skills. Greens were in very good shape on a 100 degree day.
nice course for the amount of area it encompasses.
I am a novice golfer. The course presented more than enough challenges. Has nice club house and two driving ranges. tire facility of course well managed and maintained. Would definitely return to golf again.
