Horrible course, but a great place to play
This course was described to me many years ago before I played it as an "18-hole driving range", and that is pretty accurate. All the fairways are wide open, so you can hit it poorly off the tee (as I frequently do) and still have another shot without losing a ball or taking a drop. However, the course in general is not in great shape. There is very little distinction between the fairways and any other grass outside of the greens. The ground is hard and the grass is patchy at best. Even in the fairway, your best hope is that the ball stops in a patch of clover so you can actually get your club under the ball. The greens are pretty decent most of the time. There are no amenities on the course itself. They have removed the ball washers and water coolers, and even keep the bathrooms locked. So make sure you "go" and get your drinks at the clubhouse before 1 and 10. But if you're a beginner, a casual player, don't like to be rushed, and not a grass snob, it's a pretty great place to play. And you get some great rates at times through GN.
Way overpriced for this app
Played it once spring 2022. I noticed it’s new on this app, so just didn’t want anyone who looks into where they’re playing to over pay. It’s a slight edge above a goat track. Definitely not worth a $50 hot deal or whatever it costs. Maybe $35-40 for a weekend all day pass, but no more than $25 for a weekend round. Especially when there are much better courses within half an hour for cheaper with booking through their course than this hot deal price.
Good course, lots of fun.
We really enjoyed the course. The conditions are average, the layout is a little confusing for first timers. Overall though it was a lot of fun in a relaxed environment. There’s a hole that has changed (no longer crosses the road) that the gps needs to be updated. If you are in the area, give it a try. Will be back for sure.
Fun!
A very relaxed experience. The staff is nice and the members are friendly. The course is great for those leaning the game. Greens are in the best shape I've ever seen them. Just a fun round of golf.
