its cheap. thats about it. its basically 18 individual driving ranges. not to mention if you f.uck up driving, good luck finding the ball. i lost a ball on the fairway because weeds were so high.....

Challenging with lots of sand and water, but very open. Great layout. Rough is a little deep but the fairways and greens were in pristine condition

Haven't been to this course in over a year because of poor conditions in the past. But today, fairways were cut and did not have clover patches growing in them as they did back in early 2012. First cut of rough had some patches of clover, but you shouldn't be there anyway !! Greens were exceptional. They were FAST. They did have some poa annua on them but it was cut very low and did not interfere with putting. Those who have recently criticized the greens should come back and play this course again. I used the GolfNow app and got a super deal at this course.......$16 plus tax and fees. And that was for a morning tee time. I'll be back at that price even though I have to drive about 30 miles from Gwinnett County to get here.

I've played the Highlands a handful of times now and each time has been a great experience. The staff is super friendly and eager to assist you in anything you need. The course is well maintained and offers quite a few challenging holes such as the 10th hole par 3 where your drive has to carry one long and wide bunker all the way up to the green. If your drive isn't accurate rest assured you are on the beach.

Fun and challenging. Can't wait to get back out there and play this one again!

Greens were recovering from aeiration but the fairways were good.

The greens were slow due to a high cut on the mowers. Fairways had patches of uncut clover that lent itself an extra degree of difficulty finding even the best of tee shots. But low attendance in the early week and early morning made up for conditions and the course overall was a good experience.

greens are in terrible shape, bunker are not sand it is hard dirt or mud, if you book a threesome they will only give you one basket of range 25 balls to split between all who plays, but you should get one basket for person under that tee time. there are weeds all over the greens, some areas of the green do NOT have any grass at all just sand. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Playing early April still kinda winter conditions but looks like lots of work has been put in and will be really nice in a couple of weeks.

The course was nice; however, needs a trim. The greens were extremely slow, and we made a rule that if you are in some of the traps - you can put it up on a mound of sand. Hard sand. They prob need to add sand to them. Over all great fun with old friends and 6 pars.

Highland GC features a wonderful layout. The holes can be challenging depending on the tees played. We played the Blue Tees. One must land precise shots in the right spots to have a clear go at the greens. Pars are definitely a possibility on each hole but being reckless will yield double bogeys before you know it.
That been said, I hope they can maintain the course. It was not in good shape. Weeds are more abundant than grass in the fairways.

COURSE WAS OK BUT THE GREENS NEED ATTENTION! OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY GOLFER.

I used to frequent this golf course at least 2 or 3 times a month last year and the course was fine. However, the greens are really what make your round that more enjoyable, but the greens here are TERRIBLE. On top of that, I got a HOT DEAL and paid only $10 including a bucket of balls. When I got in the pro shop, the guy at the desk tried to charge me for range balls that I already paid for online. He then almost got an attitude UNTIL I had to show him online myself. The GREENS were so bad that I was still mad that it costed me $10 ALONG WITH RANGE BALLS. It's like they have went up on the price for a round, but the course is heading in the oposite directions. I dont think that I will revisit this course again until some attention has been paid to the greens on this course. Dont waste your round!

Certainly not in the $35.00 range. Even taking into consideration the rains two days before hand.

The course was in good condition considering it rained the day before and it is winter. Sand traps had some standing water and could use some work. Fortunately, I avoided them. Course in not really long but still a challenge for the price.

Course needs a little work but it's playable and fun, staff are very friendly.

Had some holes that were very challenging, and some that were fun to play. over all a good course to play and you can score if you are hitting the ball clean. Greens are very soft and you can go at the pin.

This course was exactly what I paid for $9.00 per player and its worth .50 per hole

The bunkers are fairly maintained, but the greens and fairways are poor.
