Perfect for golfers of any level
Great course, super friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Pretty basic golf, but a nice variety of holes. Par 3s are especially good.
A decent, older public course. Unfortunately it has fallen into disrepair in spots, including the greens and a few fairways. Still, an enjoyable track that is very playable for the average golfer. Very nice par 3s and a good variety of par 4s of various distances/dogleg shapes. Not a lot of forced carries and no extreme elevation changes, so you shouldn't lose 2 sleeves of balls playing it.
Decent course
Good course and decent greens plus you can see the shot required.
The course is a good value for the price
Played a threesome yesterday and found the course to be in good playing condition and moderately challenging. Some greens are in need of minor repair but the majority were in good condition. I have been playing for less than a year and thought the course offered the right amount of challenges/hazards for someone of my skill level.
great deal,love hot deals!!!!!
had course to ourselves on a early Monday morning,in good shape for this time of year.Had fun gentleman running clubhouse
very nice.
very forgiven... fast play and great price!!
for the money you can't go wrong, the course is on good condition other than a couple greens that need some work.
Highlands review
This was my second time playing Highlands. I played this course as the second leg of a 36 hole day, and I selected it due to its easy play. The course is in average condition, the fairways have bare spots and weeds but overall played ok. The greens had some burnt areas but were playable. The layout is not that challenging, and doesn't make you think much. If you are on a budget this course is a good value. They have good practice facilities with a nice driving range, large putting surface, and a trap/chipping area. They have a nice grill, and a decent proshop. Overall not a bad deal for the budget golfer.
Great Golf Course
Super friendly staff. Wide yet challenging fairways.
One of my favorite local courses.
The course has several "over water" holes , including a 140
yard (from the white tees) par 3. However, several of the greens yesterday (10/19) had vast grassless areas. Otherwise, the course was in good shape.
Best in area
The most enjoyable golf course in the Atlanta area. Not one tricked up hold. A beautiful course, wonderfully managed and maintained. I have played most all of the area courses and this one is by far the "IT" course. If you haven't played Highland, your golf experience in the Atlanta area is incomplete.
Good Value, but Greens Need Attention
I used to be a member of this course a few years back, so I really like the layout, but they are struggling to keep several of their greens alive at this point. The tee boxes and fairways are in good shape for the most part, but there are at least 8 greens that have large dead areas.
Good course for the money
If you want to play a quick round on a decent course then Highland is the course to play. The course is pretty wide open and not that difficult. A few of the greens are in poor condition but they are playable. The fairways are good but not great. This is not a pristine course by any stretch of the imagination but well worth it for the price. Water is only in play on a couple of holes. Staff is friendly and pace of play is pretty good.
Great layout and good group of people to golf with
The pro always helps me with pairing me up with other golfers that I would be comfortable playing with
Course is in nice shape for the money spent
The course has great fairways that are cut clean and wide open. The greens are in better shape than average but still could use a little attention. The pace of play was quick also. Overall, for what I paid through golfnow the course was great! Knowing how nice it is now I would have easily paid more than I did and still be completely satisfied.
Highland Golf Course, Conyers Ga.
Most greens are gone, sand traps have no sand just dirt, fairways are sparce
this course has good practice range and old club house
Old course that needs support of playing community because of lack of revenue in this economy to support maintenance needed for maintain respectable and desirable first class golf course
Course needs maintenance.
The course does not appear to be maintained, thus the greens are in bad shape. I will not be returning here this year.
