Much improved
The rains have helped the fairways and greens fill in. They are very close to finishing the new watering system. I played last Tuesday for the first time in two weeks and couldn’t believe how much it had improved.
It's come a long way
I've played this course since 2013 and can tell you that it is in a far better place than what some older reviewers mention. It was pretty bad back in 2015, but today it is 180° in a better direction. While not perfect, it is definitely worth checking out. The layout is challenging, the wildlife is enmeshed with the course (you will see deer, fox, and maybe even turkey during your round), and the level of maintenance has improved significantly, even since earlier this spring. Tees and bunkers are looking good, greens are rolling fast, and the fairways are drastically improved. If you haven't been on the course in awhile, give it a look; I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
The course is not in that good of shape, but ok for the money
Unfortunately Course has gone Downhill
No fairways, dead greens, lack of maintenance. Course just appears to be barely making it. Broke
Cow pasture
I play this course a few years ago it was great. Now its awful conditon . I figured lush grens and fairways because of spring but it was not good. Fairway was terrible, greens lack care.
Course needs quite a bit of work on the fairways and greens. Need to cut grass on teeboxs, could barely get tee in ground without ball sitting on the grass. Not all holes were bad but some were almost impossible to putt on and fairways had to move the ball to some grass to hit off of
Absolutely Awful
I've played the course for the better part of 10 years now. The place is an absolute joke now. Nothing but weeds and tall grass on the tees and fairways. Will not be back, sad to see the place in such bad shape. Head pro and some of the staff not friendly as well. Pace of play was great...because no one was out there. Don't waste your money.
had fun great course
challenging and very nice greens fast and tricky bring a lot of golf balls
Tee Time delayed hour by 120 Man Golf Tourney, Surprise!:)
I had a 3:10 Tee Time and showed up at 3 PM and the entire Parking Lot was Full! They forgot to mention to Golf Now that they had a 120 person Tournament going on when I booked my Tee Time! I was not the only golf now member tricked by this. There was a foursome on the 1st green, foursome in fairway, two foursomes waiting to tee off and the golf pro said that I could tee off with another golf now member after everyone else! No offer to go off back nine, or raincheck, looking at 6+ hour round with 3.5 hours of daylight left! Very dismissive attitude. I drove an hour down here to wait an hour to tee off. When I walked in the clubhouse they actually laughed at me when I said I had a Golf Now Reservation. I do enjoy this course and played it several times but I will never go back there again.
Most courses close when they have a tournament, right? They at least could tell you about that before you book.
Nice place to play
Nice place. Course was in very good shape. Would play there anytime. Staff was very nice too.
A lot of different types of holes, fun to play, challenging enough to make it worth the trip for sure!
Course is in pretty good shape, fun to play. Didn't lose very many balls but if u don't stay straight on a lot of the holes, u will be diggin in your bag for balls all day! Somewhat challenging for sure, the mixture of all different types of holes makes it a good golfing experience. I will be back!
Going back tomorrow!
Many challenging holes with the rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. Easily navigated with directional signs. There had been several course improvements since playing there n 2011. Staff were very friendly and engaged in lighthearted conversation. Made you feel part of their little family.
Electric golf carts made the hills easy to climb. Great hotdogs at the 19th Hole.
Awesome day, and course
Great course! you can make a bad shot and recover. Challenging rough but friendly. Love the layout. Good greens and nice fairways.
Not Bad, easy to lose balls
Fairway and rough good, some problem areas.
Greens were great, fast but true....
The course is challenging and fun
This course had plenty of opportunities to score low. At the same time, it was difficult.
Greens are in good condition.
First time here, played fr $14.00 through Golfnow.com
My course charges $16.00 for a cart fo 18 so it was hard to pass up. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and rough are average at best with some being in poor condition epecially the bunkers which are like hitting off the pavement in the parking lot. The greens are the star of the course along with the wildlife. There were only a few greens that had some small issues but they all rolled true and were holding approach shots well.
Love the elevation changes from tee box to fairway to green. Makes choosing your lines really important a you don't want to play from anywhere but the fairways here.
Deer are plentiful on and around the course. Saw 15 during my round. Course has potential and the is now owned by the HOA so I hope to play it again soon and see an improvement in the condtions.
Fariways are spotty, if they had been mowed, probably wouldnt have had any grass at all, rough needs work and there were several areas being worked on
greens were smooth and ran ok, some had deep cuts in them, only 1 water place on the front 9 left us gasping for a cold drink after 9, good marketing strategy
good mix of different kinds of holes
This course is a great value. Several easy holes with a few tough holes thrown in.
Fairways need attention. Greens are good and fast. As always, plenty of deer to be seen.
I enjoy the layout and challenge of the course. Great risk reward opportunities. Under new management so maybe they are working to make the fairways more plush. Good price and replay rate for a weekday.
Course needs alot of HELP
Course was average at best. Greens need a lot of attention and only course I ever have played where you hit your ball down the middle of the fairway and poof it's gone!! Leaves are EVERYWHERE on this course and makes finding your ball extremely difficult.
