the best $24 golf course i have played
Played at 1.00 on a Thursday which was the hot deal, then use a 25% discount code - price $24.
The course is long & requires prior knowledge or you will loose a ton of balls, i had 3 guys who know the course & provided tips on almost every hole. The fairways are in good condition, but some the greens were being aerated. Nice layout with water, elevation changes & some monster mansions tucked around the course. Very enjoyable.
Great challenging course
If you are looking for a challenge I would recommend Westwynd. Course has as excellent design and is reasonably well maintained. Generally a good value for the money. It provides a links/up North feel and is usually not crowded.
Good layout
Traps needed a lot of work when we played and the rough was high but that could a function of the of the weather we have had.
great shape and quick play
we had a 1:50 tee time and were done by a little after 5pm. course is in great shape. need to play a couple more times . some target golf holes and blind 2nd shots. lots of fun though
This course is very fun to play. Has challenging holes that are not over baring
Everything is great about this course. Very well kept. Only two downfalls are no practice range, and the yardage markers are difficult to find.
This course is very challenging with an abundance of well placed sand traps, water hazards, and overall design that demands accuracy and strategy

Fun but challenging course to play.
Every hole has its own unique challenge. Lots if bunkers and hazards in every hole. The layout is nice with great scenery. Would play course again
Overall decent but not worth what they normally want.
The layout in general is demanding. The problem I had in general was the condition of the tee boxes and ,many of the greens. The greens were ok-but not what I was expecting. Lots of ball marks that were poorly repaired.
Tee boxes were not cut well and needed attention. Fairways were in pretty good shape for the amount of water that we have had recently.
Fathers day bad food and drink service
.Course was great. Challenging, but fair. Rewards for good shots and penalties for bad. Well groomed, changes in elevation, good mix of heather, treed and water holes.
Just bring food and drinks. We had no drink cart until noon and the halfway house for the turn was closed, on fathers day yet. spoiled what could have been a nice day out
Long/Challenging track
Course is a great deal if you can get the Hot Deal, but is pretty difficult for the average golfer.
A variety of challenging holes.
This course makes you think on every shot. Course management
is a priority. Risk/reward follows you around. A high handicapper
may find this course too difficult.
Challenges galore.
This is a challenging course 1 to 18 as well as visually appealing. I needed every club in my bag and all the focus I could bring. Can't wait for another chance to play Westwynd.
Hardest Course ive played in this area
This was "THE" hardest course ive played in the metro detroit area. Long holes, tight fairways with alot of hidden hazards along the way..
Pro shop attendant was very rude to my father while we were paying for our rounds.
Great course and facility for the price we paid!
Great clubhouse, carts well maintained. Course was in very good condition. Our group had never played there and we really enjoyed it for $27!! The homes surrounding this course are incredible! Guy was cleaning our clubs on the 18th green. Very good food and menu choices. Reasonable prices in the pro shop for apparel. We will be back!
This is one of the best Golf Courses in Oakland County.
Nice cart paths and long holes and well maintained greens and fair ways.
Westwynd golf club was a challenge, great fun!
The coures had a very diverse layout with a combination of hills, water and sand. The fairways are wide enough you can bang away, but a good approach shot is a must. The greens were challenging with slightly above average speed. The pace of play was good. My foursome enjoyed it so much we played 36.
Very nice course
I got a hot deal for this course, well worth the price and then some. The course is in incredible shape. The fairways are nice and well defined, the greens were nice, not one flat one on the course. The carts are electric and work well. Overall I would play this course again and again, even at full price.
This is a tough course.
This is a very challenging course. If you're not hitting the ball long and straight, try to enjoy the scenery and day so that its not a total loss. I love this course, when you put a couple good shots together and score a birdie or par, you feel good. They didn't have ball washers at every tee, but it's still early in the season. I usually play here early in the season when you can get some really good deals. The bunkers kicked my butt!!
Great course, very challenging
Well worth playing. Course in good condition offering a variety of holes.
