Overall the course was fair.
This was my first round of golf in MN. Rate of play was probably the only thing I can knock. Fairways were in good shape, greens had enough moisture to really get some fun action with the wedges.
I will say I did have to dodge several tee shots from the opposing tee box.
Probably 10-15% over priced throughout the country.
Nothing to bring me back honestly.
Great day of Golf
Nice course, several blind shots, several forced carries, greens rolled true.
You should check it out
This has become one of favorites in the south metro. Staff is very friendly and the course is always in good shape. Great value for the money
Course Has Matured Nicely
It's been at least ten years since we played Heritage Links. A favorable experience, the course has matured over those years, nicely. Give it a try...
Enjoyed
Played this course for the first time, with two teenage grandsons.
Greens were good, not too fast.
Only negative for me was that there were too many blind approaches, sometimes resulting in unpleasant surprises.
Would play again, and better.
Shermy from AZ
Other than a challenging course layout and perfectly conditioned greens, there was nothing wonderful about this course! The tee boxes were all overused or littered with quack grass! The course looked like there was a watering ban imposed by the city! The place looks the exact same as it did 20 years ago! It could use a little updating!
Rename the course to "Hidden Greens"
Main issue is that you can't see most of the pins/greens from the tee box.
ALSO -- there is a gully/wooded ditch that affects nearly every hole. and it's right where you land your shots. I can say how many times I was hitting beautiful shots according to the yardage only -- becuase couldn't see the pins -- only to find out that there was a marsh or a ditch where I landed.
I lost around 10 balls. Terrible course. NEVER PLAYING AGAIN
Quirky
The course layout is quirky with too many blind shots off the box or second shots!
