The Majestic At Lake Walden - 2nd Nine / 3rd Nine

Great course, the golfnow price made it a steal! Greens were in great shape considering the winter we had.

Although a frost delay, the staff did everything to get me out as soon as possible. Very pleasant round.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course in excellent shape for late October. Great layout and beautiful views throughout the 27 holes.
Would definitely recommend to others.

Bunkers to carry in to greens. Up north look and feel. Can not see other holes, each hole is it's own experience.

The condition of greens this year and yesterday.... Terrible .
I want the old majestic back.

THIS COURSE DOES NOT MEET THE STANDARDS AS BEFORE,GREENS WERE TERRIBLE ON HOLES10 THRUN 18 19 THRU 27 A LITTLE BETTER. I DO NOT THINK I WILL PLAY THIS AGAIN THIS YEAR.
P.S RUMOR HAS IT THERE IS OWNERSHIP PROBLEM.

They have 27 holes here and when we finished we found ourselves about as far away from the clubhouse as you could get. Why would they do that?

The course was not in great condition, very disapointed...

VERY disappointing. Course not as hard as I had thought, greens are TERRIBLE. Every course in the area has great greens. Very bumpy, rough, hole placements in the worst places on the greens. Course not challenging enough for the price. I am glad I did not have to pay full price. I would not play if I had to play full price in the conditions the greens were in.

Overall course conditions were good except for most of the greens were rough shape. A lot of bare spots on the greens made it hard to get a good roll on your putt. Also a cart GPS quit working a lot. Overall liked the layout,but with the greens the way they are should lower price I wouldn't pay $60.

The course is a fair but challenge to all golf levels. No 2 holes alike or next to each other. Wide fairways and large undulating greens. Secluded track that wraps around Lake Waldon. The only person we saw all day was the beverage cart. It could have been a little more frequent since you don't have the option of running into the clubhouse at the turn. The green's were a bit rough since they had a fungus problem, but was the course was forthright about the problem and reduced the fee's. Good move!

Booked last minute - I played as a single but the starter and clubhouse staff worked extremely hard to minimize my wait for other groups (the course has 3 Nine's). Also - about 3-4 greens were in rough - but not horrible shape (mold or something) - again, before I even knew, the staff stepped up and discounted the rate prior to me knowing about it. Pretty much have to hand it to the folks here. Fantastic work on their part. Overall, course is challenging - well worth playing.

Great piece of property; just like being up north. Lots of wildlife on display from birds to deer. I would have rated this course much higher, but some of the greens were in rough shape.

I have always liked this course as it is built around a lake and through the hills - very pretty. Some greens showed mold, probably due to the excess rain we've had.

Overall this is one of my top five courses in Detroit area but the greens have some type of fungus so that made for a miserable time putting...even on short putts.......I would suggest this course but not until the greens are taken care of

The course is beautiful and challenging. I haven't play Majestic in 8 years or so, they have completely left the greens go.

A combination of winter mold and lack of attention.

When you return to the cart with mud on you shoes ffom walking on the green there is a problem.

Won't be playing here until they fix 16 out of 18 greens

Rode the boat over and Started on #10 . Played our tee shots and approach shots, got to the green and found it had very little grass. All the greens were like that. Left after 4 holes. Why charge $60 to play bad greens? Got a raincheck for 9. Won't be back this year that's for sure.

Great course. Hit good shots and you'll be rewarded. A couple greens need a little attention but overall roll true. Fair course even from the Gold tee box.

I have always enjoyed playing here and I look forward to the next round at the Majestic.

I was waiting on a foursome and the beverage cart girl told me that there were foursomes all ahead of them. At the turn I mentioned this at the pro shop and they offered me the third nine as no one was on it. Made for a great day, as I had never played that nine before.

Mt favorite place to play when I visit my mom. What a fantastic track. 2 thumbs up to the grounds crew, greens are smooth and quick. A must play.
