As expected
Course was in great shape again. Greens were quick. Love this place.
Lake Valley is in great shape
Lake Valley in Camdenton is in great shape. Greens are holding great and fairways are nice and plush. Great Value! People running the operation are very friendly and off course amenities are very nice. Gives you the "feel" of a very friendly golf experience. Try it, you will like it!
Player friendly
Course is in good condition. The layout is player friendly. Nice setup for average golfers to have fun. Not challenging to low handicaps
Fun Course to Play
Great,fun golf course,love the 6-6-6 par layout,keeps the game interesting and the general golfer a chance to score!
I really enjoyed myself at Lake Valley
Course was in great condition, if I had to make a complaint there was one tee box that needed attention, other than that the course was great. Tee'd off by myself and played 8 holes before I caught the group ahead. By 14 the course began to back up, but never waited more than a couple mins.
All in all I will play again.
Outstanding!
After reading the previous reviews we decided to play this course, and everything that had been said was true - all positive! Pro shop staff could not have been nicer, the course was in great shape, drink cart had a wider than normal variety of refreshments. ITs obvious they put a great deal of effort into keeping this course in top shape. Look forward to playing it again!
A good course to play
Course was in pretty good shape, greens were very well maintained and there were a variety of elevations and hole lengths to make it a challenge from the white tees. Balls hit off the fairway were sometimes difficult to find due to length of rough. Pace of play was good, teeing off approx. 11:50 am and done by 3:15pm. Food in the clubhouse was tasty and reasonably priced.

Make it rain!
Great course only one fairway had clumps of grass from the mower but on 8 and 9 as we approached to chip on the green, the sprinklers came on on the green. We picked up and started to move on when sprinklers went off. Same thing on 9. Was this a joke?
Nice course
Lake Valley CC is a well maintained course. It's fairly unchallenging, which is fine with me. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I think this course is fairly expensive given its remote location, but there were a lot of folks playing in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day. So apparently a lot of people think its worth the price.
The one slight negative to this course is it lacks any holes where you just look at it and say "this is a gorgeous golf hole."
Lush, green scenic
Course was in great condition. There had been lots of previous rain in the area, so water was present in a few bunkers and cart path only on 2 holes. This is the most established course at Lake of the Ozarks and always a favorite, wide fairways, mature trees and perfect greens. Highly recommend.
Interesting layout
Enjoyed the course it has 6 par 3's 6 par 5's and 6 par 4's
Greens were in excellent condition. Fairways and tee boxes need some help. Tees are hard and not much grass, fairways are pretty bare. People were very friendly and the course is challenging.

Booking thru Golfnow sometimes comes with a less than friendly treatment at the course, since they know that you paid less than their normal fees. Not so here. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Course conditions were OK, but it was early April when no course in Missouri is at it's best. Loved the layout. Would like to come back later in year if I am in the area.
Excellent experience
Nice course with 6 each of par 3s, 4s, and 5s.
Good customer service, staff brought carts to our vehicle to load immediately. Nice greens for mid November in Midwest. Highly recommend
Pace of play
2 groups of 5 just in my visual, 2 groups of 4 playing a scramble super slow holding up the course..no golf etiquette to let players thru. A marshsll should have been on course, it was packed. Never again on a Friday!
