Slow pace
I think they tried cramming too many people into the day play pace was very slow, everyone was backed up by the 3rd hole. Course was pretty good for how dry it has been, met a nice couple with our tee time.
You'll want to play twice
Very nice course. Interesting terrain but course knowledge would improve your score.
day at the course
First day of decent weather (that I could utilize) and the play was fantastic. I also availed myself of a fantastic price using "Golf Now" to get a remarkable deal on 18 and a cart. Great course with challenges and scenery enough to suit anyone.
Great course layout, friendly people and the course is always in good shape
Cinco de mayo golf
Great course, in excellent early season condition.
Staff very friendly and rate of play perfect.
We will return!
First Time playing
Staff was great. Pace was slow but think the weather caused the backup as it rained hard just before we started and everyone went to the bar and restaurant them returned where they left off.
Interesting course with tremendous elevation changes, great scenery, and many holes along the river.
Great Course, Challenging Layout
This is a wonderful place to play golf. The course is a tough track through trees and hilly terrain - it's tight but fair. It was in excellent condition! The pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful. The practice area is large and well maintained. Ill be back!
Very Challenging
I've played here for about 10 years and it's now in the best shape it's ever been in and I think you will enjoy it. The staff are exceptionally nice people.
Very challenging and rewarding track
Great old traditional course and club house. Centrally located
Strange layout
This course was a strange one. There is really no way to know where you are supposed to hit the ball for the first 4 holes and 7 of the first 9. It is kind of a pretty course down in the river bottom, but even that has some really strange little holes. Not fun at all!
bookers delight slicers beware but. fun
The course is welll maintained with excellent tricky greens that need your full intention to read. On the front nine if u cant hit a draw on your tee ball you will have long shots into the greens. This course does not favour some on who fades the ball. Par 3's are challenging with a few par 5's that require perfect drives for positioning. You can get a few severe side hill or downhill lies on a few holes. Overall its a quirky layout that is a challenge and fun to play. Friendly staff and fast pace of play.
September 11th to remember
Great time had by all. My son drove a couple of par fours to take shot at eagle putts. I hit a pitching wedge into a par 5 for my eagle attempt. Enjoyed the scoring opportunities this course provide. Course definitely favors players that work the ball from right to left.
great hot deal!
great hot deals in the pm. less than the price of the cart alone! course has some blind shots and some uphill/downhill doglegs (#17) but otherwise a fair and enjoyable course. staff was very nice, even when we arrive 30 min late, for the pre-paid time. if you have time, check out the conrad mansion nearby and take the mansion tour. it's called buffalo hill b/c charles conrad kept a buffalo herd on that hill! and helped to preserve the endangered bison.
Great Track
The facilities are very nice. The driving range and pitching area is very nice. The faculty were very friendly as well. The course is very challenging. It's a course that makes you strategize your shots. You can't just swing away and spray the ball everywhere. There's a lot of elevation changes. The scenery is awesome. A couple greens were not in great shape. Overall it's a great place to play. It was my first time there and won't be the last. I'd recommend aging with someone that has course knowledge.
Impressive Montana Course around Flat Head Lake
I really enjoyed playing this city course! It was very challenging and quite beautiful from almost every hole. The staff were very friendly and eager to tell you about all the nuances of the course. We had a cart which provided us with notes on each hole; and found this most informative. Our 3 some was pared with one of the best golfers I've had the privilege of playing with. My only recommendation is to be a little more aggressive at cleaning up some of the wildlife droppings.
Gem in the City
Buffalo Hill meanders through a set of terrain that is pretty unique. What you see from the Highway is just the beginning. Many narrow fairways, lots of major elevation change makes for a challenging day. Bring lots of balls, lots of places to get in trouble.
