Great golf experience. Course in great shape. Greens are very challenging and put a premium on accuracy. Staff super friendly , efficient and accommodating, and dining is SUPERB and consistently so.

Very challenging greens. pick the right t box and its a course for any skill level.good conditions and great post round restaurant. the tips can be insanely hard; white very playable. blue and gold in between. open and playable for any skill level and fun yet a challenge for the good player trying to score.

Since the course was recently updated, the condition of the fairways and greens are superior. The greens are large, so if you do not have a great day putting, you will not score well.
The food is top quality and if you do not stay for lunch you will miss something special. Definitely try the short ribs.

The golf course is in excellent condition and always well maintained. The fairways are excellent. The greens are moderately large with moderate changes in elevation. The greens roll true and are always in excellent shape. Bunkers on the course are well maintained and contain a good amount of sand--no rocks or other debris. The staff at the course is friendly and always helpful. There is a great restaurant on the course with excellent food. Naturally, the difficulty of the course is directly related to the tees that you play, but no matter which tees you play, you can expect a fair challenge. I highly recommend this course--it's one of the best in South Florida.

It is a great public course that is challenging to both low and high handicappers. The staff is very professional and friendly. I play in a private course on a regular basis but this course gives you the same type of environment. Highly recommended.

Course getting better by the day after last year substantial renovation. Fairways & Greens in excellent condition... a straight putt is not the norm. You must find time to play the Reese next time you are in Miami.

I play Melreese on a regular basis because of the quality of the course, people and facilities.

This is one of, if not the best public course in Miami. It's always in good condition and the staff has done a great job keeping the greens in great shape. It is a challenging course for the better player but is fun from the white tees. My favorite part of the course is the restaurant. I go to eat lunch there a lot even when I'm not playing golf. This is a greatest course all around.

Great venue all around. Very pleasant and friendly service.And the food is incredible.I do a charity tournament there on a yearly basis for approx 100 players and always walk away completely satisfied.As a golf course/business, they know how to do it all.

This is without a doubt the best public course in Miami. Key biscayne might have a better layout but this course is in better condition. Everything here is first rate. John Reed in the pro shop is most accommodating. Larry the starter is great and marvin's food can't be beat. Top notch facility

Golf Course is in excellent condition. Very green, fairways are superb, bunkers(numerous) are well maintained, greens are undulating(different for Florida Courses),true and receptive. A great experience.
Restaurant is private club class with a great menu and friendly, professional service. Golf staff is courteous, professional and product knowledgeable. Shows good training and dedication. Overall cleanliness of facility was noticeable.A very pleasant experience.

Its about time this fine establishment get some well deserved recognition. First of all, it's all the great people that make Melreese the great place that it is. In Miami, or anywhere anymore for that matter, it is rare to find professional, compassionate people that really and truly care about it's patrons and their families. At Melreese you will find that it is really just one big happy family.. All of the people are friendly, they greet you, and they want to know what they can do to make your experience with them even better. The course is in great shape after the brand new fairways, greens and tee boxes were planted last summer. They have a well stocked Pro Shop with a knowledgeable staff and a Custom Golf Club Fitting shop right there. Also, The First Tee Miami is headquartered there and all of the coaches are excellent role models and teachers. The First Tee principles are so valuable to our youngsters as they mature into adults,, (and many adults could also benefit greatly from the lessons they teach). From the basics all the way through college and beyond that. They are helping kids graduate high school and obtain college scholarships. You can find many dedicated mentors at Melreese that work very hard for all of the kid's benefit. Have I mentioned the food? They have a restaurant there called Duffer's Den. This place is one of the best places to eat in all of Miami and you can see by the lunch crowds that I am not the only one that believes that. Every day Chef Marvin creates the most marvelous tasting dishes. From homemade soups from scratch to his fresh baked bread everyday and his famous lunch specials, everything there is delicious and you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy the restaurant, everyone is welcome. They can even deliver it to you while your out hitting great shots on the golf course. It's also a perfect place for a banquet or party. My daughter had her wedding party there last year and everyone had a blast ! It's a very nice place for the whole family. Come and see for yourself, I don't lie.

The staff makes a good course a great experience. The course itself is plenty challenging for most levels of play and the convenience of the location is unbeatable.

This course is in top condition. The tees and fairways are green and lush. There were no bare or brown spots on the greens, nor were there any weeds. I was very impressed with the whole course. It is definitely one of the best public courses around.

Very well maintained golf course with an excellent staff and great food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice game of golf at a very reasonable price.

The staff provides an excellent service and attention and is allways ready to serve their regular and walk ins. I play the course very often and do recommend it with all confidence.
