I have always been a fan of this course and play it every year past 10 years. Only downfall this time out was excess amount of leaves on the greens. I know it comes with the season but still.
Several fun holes; challenging
Couse has a couple easy holes but several quite challenging ones as well. Fun to play.
Great Price
Great price. Was a lot of fun for a couple beginners like my Dad and myself. Got hurried by the ranger towards the end because there was league play coming on after us. But there was nothing we could do with a slow foursome in front of us. Either way good conditions great price.
Majestic Oaks lives up to its name
We played the Crossroads Course, which is one of three 18-hole courses to chose from. Lots of trees, but a very fair layout. Only criticism was the par 5 on the back nine (#14?) that zig-zags to the green, which means you hit two 8-irons as approach shots coming into the green. Rather strange.
Greens were fair, somewhat slower than I expected.
I would go back, no queston, to see if I could improve my score the second time around.
good weekend rate
course was in good shape, a little busy but weekend golf usually is.
I'd go again
Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a good day of golf!
This course is golfer friendly with moderate challenges
We had a threesome and played a fast 18 holes. Excellent site lines with moderate challenges and the course is in excellent conditions. Very attentive personnel and food was outstanding.
Weather was great course was in good condition .
Great value. Nice course. Pace use very good. Had a wonderful experience .
Great course, but sort of expensive.
Out of the three courses they offer, two 18-hole courses and and executive 9, we played the lower end (still nice) 18-hole course, Cross Roads. I love the course outlay, it provides short and long shots and has some good par holes. Relatively expensive depending on the time of day you golf but otherwise not bad. Come with your own water and snacks because it will cost you an arm and leg to buy it from the cart.
Love the crossroads. Hot deals are always available in the afternoon. Best deal around!
Love Crossroads. Greens always excellent and with a hot deal you get the best value around..
The course was in average condition as nearing towards end of the season. Pace of play was decent with a frost delay at start of round.
A relatively good paced round. With it being late october its usually golf enthusiasts out this late in the year, which, suprises me as the unwillingness to fix divot marks on the greens. I played as a single and matched up with a twosome who were both outgoing and pleasant to golf with. Course conditions decent and golfnow price made this a worthwhile round. Hopefully not the last round of the season for us.
good course will go back
we had a great time even though it rained course was in great shape cant wait to go back
The course is easy to play.
The course is in very good shape considering the dry spell this summer.
Tight course with trees and grasses
greens and apron were just plugged and sanded without any prior notice
Worth it!
Saved 35% using GolfNow. With the savings, it was worth it. If you hit the ball straight, it's a really easy course. Some of the fairways are a little tight so if you're a weekend slicer it's difficult. We played from the Gold tees because we thought the course was short, but given our handicaps we should have played from the blacks. Overall the course was in good condition and it was a good time.
We did have some jokers in front of us so play was pretty slow. That is to be expected on the lower quality of their 2 courses in my opinion.
A fun course to play and lots of characters. The greens seem to be neglected compare to the Signature course.
A fun course to play and lots of characters. Slow pace and the greens seems neglected compare to the Signature course. We have 2 beverage girls 3 holes apart on 8th and 10th holes and did not have any for the other 16 holes. Good thing cause the lounge have cheaper beer.
very nice course-- looking forward to playing again
very hot day -rangers came around and brought water - nice touch all of the foursome were very pleased
Course was is good shape, Started on time, for being very busy.
Course was very busy, but everything moved along at a good pace. Beverage Cart girls did a great job. Came around every few holes. Would play again.
Good location
You could see the course was being well maintained....Bunkers,tee boxes, ect. ect.
Inconsistent shape of the course
I only played their "Crossroads" course so I can't speak on the shape of their other 2 courses. Some holes seemed to be in ok shape, but most of the holes were in pretty rough shape. Greens were terrible. Ball marks everywhere. I expected a much better golf course from the reputation Majestic Oaks has. Overall, very dissappointed, the only condition I would play this course in the future would be if I found another discounted "bargain round", it's just not worth any higher cost.
