Great course
This is my favorite course in the greater Sacramento area.
Always a Solid Choice!
For those in the Greater Roseville area - Timbercreek is always a solid choice. The course is moderately difficult and always in good condition.
The front nine is a typical 'Del Webb' experience with fairways and greens wrapped within single-story homes. The back nine offers multiple tree-lined fairways.
Our most recent round provided excellent weather and a great pace of play with only a marginal challenge of greens having been recently punched. The pro shop staff has never been overly enthusiastic, but post-round amenities are excellent.
Perfect Conditions
The starter does an excellent job of keeping you informed and starting off! The food was good and service was great! The course conditions are the best in town!
Best Condition
By far Timber Creek was in the best condition for the last couple years. The greens were the nicest I seen in in the area (believe it or not, I would compare the conditions of the greens to Pebble Beach, they just need to be rolled more often ) now next week they are going to aerate the greens so it’ll be months before they will be this nice again
Fantastic
Best course in the greater Sacramento area. Greens are perfect!
Timber Creek Review
Course was moist due to recent rains. But, it played very good!
Must Play
I play here quite often and the course is always in great shape. In my opinion very close to and private club in the area. It’s part of a retirement community so tee times go quick. Due to the rain, it was cat path only and we tee’d off at 1:00 and we were able to finish, barely!
Timber Creek is always a good place to play
Timber Creek golf course is one of my favorite tracks in the Sacramento area and probably the best maintained of any public course. First nine is mostly wide-open with a few water hazards and the second nine the fairways are a bit narrower tree lined fairways. The first cut rough, especially around the greens, is outstanding unlike many other public course the rough at Timber Creek is well maintained and consistent as opposed to many other courses where you have mixed clumps of grass and dirt resulting in unfair lies. The greens are a bit slow would be better to be a tad faster. They have really good practice facilities recently refurbished, including a chipping area with a sand trap although the sand trap in the chipping area was not well-maintained. The staff is always outstanding and friendly, especially the starter at the first tee.
Awesome layout
Front 9. Lakes then back 9 woods
Course in great condition including sand in green side bunkers
Best course in Roseville
I have played a lot of courses around the area and this is by far the best. Well kept and staff is always friendly.
