Great Par 70 course in amazing condition!

Don't be fooled by the yardage! Fun challenging shorter holes with terrific greens. Greens are surrounded by bunkers and hazards to add excitement to your round.
April 2nd and the course is already in summer play condition. Set up for smart golf, positioning is more important than length on many holes. A couple challenging Par 3's over 200 yards from the Blue Tees.
The facilities are comparable to many top Golf Country Clubs courses throughout Canada and USA. The new Owners and Management have built a remarkable development of an older Hack Course.
Food is great. I would suggest the Margarita Pizza.

Great short course to play

Booked on Golf Now with no knowledge of the course when on holiday on the Oregon Coast. Met and played with some great guys Jim, Harold, Rich. Is a fun 9 hole course with a couple drivable par 4's and a couple of the toughest Par 3's you will play. Ended up playing 5 rounds here. Played some of my best scores.
When we go back to the area this is the 1st course I will play, might even be the only course because it is so enjoyable.
Great for beginners, walkers and fun for all levels.

Hidden Gem (literally)

Great course nestled in scenic treed location. Fairways are tight but playable if you can manage your drive.
Greens are in great condition putt true and ball will stop or draw effectively.
Be sure to track the pin locations on the Scorecard and not the flag color. Pin placement is coded on the scorecard.
Some holes play long and some play short. Play with a local who has course knowledge and ask questions on how to play the hole. Tough par 3's with little room for error .
Best scores will be rewarded to smart play not aggressive play.

Open fairways, target greens

Course is dry but so are most this year. Play left center on almost all holes. Plays short so leave a comfortable wedge approach. Greens are hard so play the ball short to allow rollout on the green. Even strong wedge shots did not make a ball mark.
Greens are true. be sure to walk the green to survey your putt, some breaks or elevations are not visible from only one angle.
I think golfers of all levels will enjoy the course.

Fantastic Buddy Trip Resort Course

Desert Canyon is our destination for a 12 Person Buddy Weekend Golf Trip. This was our 4th year at this location. Perfect set up. Shop, arrive, park and golf until it is time to leave. No need to get back in your car for the weekend. We play 6 rounds in 4 days..Marc and his team at the course are amazing. I would challenge you to find a better experience anywhere. The accommodations work perfectly as well. Fully stocked 4 bedroom casitas give every golfer their own private room. The course is a great challenge and in excellent condition.

FUN COURSE FOR NEW GOLFERS or Just fun golf!

Played with my wife who hadn't golfed for 8 years, my son and his girlfriend. Was her first time golfing ever.
We had a great time. The deal we booked was with carts but is an easy walk 11 hole course.
Some tiny greens and a couple of the Par 4's are a good challenging Par 3 for better golfers.
Hole 11 is a 185 yard par 4 sounds like an easy 3 but there is about a 10 yard opening between tall trees 30 yards in front of the green and a green that is a postage stamp. This hole is a good test for mostl golfers.

Good local course, good condition

The course was in good condition considering the hot dry summer. Greens very receptive. Disappointed that many golfers were not respectful of the course, divots and ballmarks were not repaired. I fixed 2-3 on every green. One green I repaired 7 ballmarks.
There are some hydro wires that come into play on a couple holes, local rule hit again.
Looks flat but a pretty tough walk for many.
Played very slow day and time I played.

Great course really dry right now. Recommend early or late season play.

Hard to rate the course play because my play was the issue not the course.I played terrible.
Greens are in great condition. Fairway close to the greens soft and great condition.
Most of fairway tee to just short of the greens is dry and patchy. Hard to make clean contact. Can't control roll out so good shots can end up in trouble.
With a little water on the fairways would be an amazing course.

Played the Championship Tees

Amazing course in amazing conditions. In the dry of the summer the course is still lush and green. Fairways are in great shape. Big greens with some challenging undulations.
Tips were long for me off the Tee but still played 3 strokes under my handicap. Played with a local. Course knowledge is a big plus.
One of the best courses I have ever played. Definitely the top course in northwest.

WOW!! Amazing Course Amazing Golf Experience

The holes, the views, the greens, the length, the hazards, the bunkers, the people and I could go on. All were terrific leading to a great round of golf.
Seldom do I play a course where there is nothing I would suggest needs to be improved.
I think everyone that can should play this course.
I can promise you won't be disappointed.
Play the Tees recommended for your Handicap and enjoy the experience.

Need a Cart pricey when factor in the $42.00/ cart

The course offers a nice challenge. Some tight fairways with slopes and interesting lies. Undulating big challenging Greens.
Very difficult course to walk.
Cart cost is very high at $42.00 for 1 or 2 riders.
Same price $42.00 for 9 or 18 holes.

Fun Little 9 Hole for starter golf

Has been years since my wife golfed. Went to B & B for a fun Sunday afternoon. Was a great price $5.00 for 9 holes and warm up balls. Short holes good chipping practice. Pins need to be moved, the holes were worn and edges grown over. The actual holes were about 3 1/2 " because they were so worn and over grown edges.Hit off mats.

Fun Challenging but Fair

Course knowledge will be an asset. First time playing the course. Will play several holes differently next round. One green had a spot that was in very bad condition and for some unknown reason this is where the pin was. Open fairways so you can feel comfortable to swing away. Hit 14 of 14 Fairways off the tee.
Some great pin locations and interesting visual elevation changes affecting the speed on the greens.
Good walking course.

Very Good Value

have played many times and this is the first time the pace was very slow. Almost a 5 hour round.
Greens were in good shape. Few dry patches in the fairway so we roll the ball to grass on the dry patches in the fairway.
Is a tough walk on a hot day.

Great Value Convenient Location

Play this course twice a week May to October. The course is in good shape. Par 71 short course. What makes the course a challenge is very small greens and some tighter fairways with in course OB.Does have some longer Par 4's.
Sand traps are a challenge. Need to invest in some new sand in the bunkers.
Drainage is poor so not playable during the rainy season.

Great Fun Course

The people are their Ace in the Hole. Nice course in good shape. Some fun holes if you want to be aggressive. Eagles and Birdies waiting to reward the aggressive player.
Good size greens with interesting reads. Heavy sand in the bunkers so swing hard.
I think all golfers will enjoy this course.

Disappointed with Practice Facility

Arrived early excited to play Jack's favorite holes from around the world. No carts available until 5 minutes before my tee time. No practice balls on the range. Had to use a sleeve of my own balls to warm up. The ropes on the range needed to be moved. No grass to hit off only divots.
Course was spectacular.
Clubhouse staff had zero personality.
Course staff was polite.
Went to the first tee myself after not being announced or advised.
If you are only playing one pricy round in Las Vegas play TPC Las Vegas. They offer an impeccable experience start to finish.

Hit the Fairway or take a drop

The rough length was sick. If you do not hit the fairway or a bunker you most likely won't find your ball. The grass was 3-4 balls long so nestled in you could walk right over it and not see it. This was intentional because they were getting ready to close for reseeding.
If you don't hit it straight or are a high handicapper you will not enjoy the play. You will enjoy the quality of the course and the amazing views.
