Don't pay the rack rate. Worth every penny if you get a hot deal. Central in Myrtle Beach, excellent location. You won't be disappointed unless you pay the higher walk in price.

Excellent conditions and staff. Layout was furn. Well maintained. Just nothing to keep you want to coming back. Good course if you're in the area but not worth driving out of the way to. Play during the week when it's cheaper.

Best conditioned course I've played this year. Extremely slow play pace. Fun layout. Worth the $30 hot deal, not worth much more than that.

Compared to all other courses in this area, which have no grass to speak of in the fairways, Waterford is a pleasant surprise. Reminded me of the lower priced Myrtle Beach courses as far as condition goes. Layout was bland at times. Felt like just hitting one sot after another, but given how sorry the conditions are at all other courses I was delighted to be hitting off grass and not dried up turf.

Not a bad overall course. A fairly decent semi-private condition place. Unless your a Nickalaus fan, don't waste your money. Nothing really bad about the place, just not worth the price. Pace of play is 5 1/2 hours on average because they stay so booked up...most likely because of the name brand.

Excellent conditions, maintained extremely well and great clubhouse/locker room. Everything was in awsome shape and enjoyed the course although I didn't play well....shot 10 over my normal score. Tight fairways and some drives force you to a shorter landing area to a longer second shot so you can't use driver every hole which makes it different.

Really nice course but only worth $35...not anymore than that.

I paid $19 for a hot deal and that was a pretty good deal. They've done a lot of arification so there was a lot of sand on the greens. Put rolled well but just didn't look great. I played here 3 weeks ago and it was immaculate conditions. It should be back to standards in about 2 more weeks.

You will not find a better deal. if you're in the area you must play this course. No bare spots on the green. The balls checked up the best I've ever played. I felt like the pros on TV spinning my shot back 10 feet after it lands.

Fairways are in excellent condition. Cart path was pretty rough in spots but you don't hit balls from the cart path. Challenging layout in that you are forced to hit something other than driver from a few tees.

Plays a little short so may want to move back a tee box. Good scenery. When you cross over to hole 16 you actually see a sign where Lord Cornwallis led his British Army troops across Dutchman's creek in the very spot you're driving you're driving your cart across. That's pretty cool.

I got a hot deal and only paid $12. I'm still in awe at how good a deal it was for this place.

I got a hot deal for $21 and it is worth every penny of it. Excellent course. Great condition. Only issue was I left after 9 holes. I arrived at 11 for a Saturday morning tee time. Teed off at 11:40. At 2:30 I called pro shop to get a rain check for the back because I didn't have another 3 hours to play 9 more holes. I know courses need business but instead of the ranger/starter just sitting there he should seek out slow players and tell them it's Saturday and they shouldn't spend so much time looking for balls but be playing ready golf.

If you're an nc state fan you'll love it otherwise it's just not worth it. Good course and maintained well just to expensive

Different view/scenery than the typical course. Bunkers were great visuals. Hole three has a grass area in the middle of the bunker, which has another center cut bunker in that. Other bunkers were two tiered with grass in between...so pretty neat to have different looks.

Maintained well. Excellent greens. Great course. The only downside is the price. I paid $39 with golf now price. It's really only worth $30. Normal rates are much higher than that and it just simply wouldn't be worth it.

Maintained well. Nice views of surrounding businesses. City golf at it finest. Every hole is the though. They're all simply straight holes. No doglegs, no water hazards in play, all just plain hit it straight holes. Grounds are maintained well though. Nothing really wrong with this place it's just worth $40, not the $79 the usually charge. I shot the second best career low but still left unimpressed because it was just the shot after the same shot.

I found a hot deal for $20 and this course was well worth that. It's not worth more than $25. There are no sand in the bunkers...only mashed mud. The tee boxes don't exist. Other than those two factors however...this is an excellent course. The fairways, including all the surrounding shrubery and trees are maintained well. The greens are in perfect condition. The staff was great. Like I said....take away the absolutely horrendous tee boxes and mud pits and it's a really good course, especially with the Golf now Hot Deal.

I was stuck behind a tournament so it took me 5 hours to play. Each hole is seperate and it meanders around a large lake so in between holes is quite a drive at times. Definetly not a walking course. Not really challenging bu fair amount of difficult shots should you not hit what you intended to hit.

If I'm in this area and I find another hot deal I'll play again but I'm not driving 35 miles again just to play this place.

Only $24 and pretty well maintained, especially the greens. Only 3 holes are challenging. This place isn't worth the drive if you're not around here, but if you're in town and don't want to spend a lot of money you'll be pleased to go here.

Interesting and challenging layout. It makes you plan your next shot to get exact yardages rather than just hot it. Grip it and rippers would hate this course. Overall good course but conditions are just above muni level so it's just not worth the price, especially when you have to pay another $2 just to get into the park

Lots of risk/reward shots. Price during the week is $29 and the course is well worth it. Very well maintained. The challenge in it lies in the tight fairways and the fact that on 5 holes you have to shape your shot. You can choose to hit it shorter yardage...but if you want that full driver or 3 wood....you have to shape your shot so it presents something different than the average course.

Good snack bar area that serves up fresh sandwiches...cheesebruger and chicken are my favorite. Great staff, good carts. If you're in the area you can't wrong playing this course.

Maintained well but greens are extremely sloping. You just can't sink a put. On normal courses where you would end up 8 inches past...here you end up 10 feet or off the green past.

You can tell Jack was right handed....every hole is a slight dog left right....EVERY HOLE!! There is no variation. Golfers who can't hit straight or left would do well here.

The scenery is great.But so is every other golf course in Hilton Head. You can play others courses for less than half the price.

This place isn't bad....just not worth the price. You're paying for Nickalaus' name....not for the course.

You won't get a better value for the hot deal on Golfnow. $15 for this place is outstanding! It took a lot longer to play because of the other 3 I was paired with...but the greens were great, like putting on glass. Fairway was well maintained. The only negative is the distance. You need to move up a tee box than normal because of the distance on every hole.

I wouldn't pay the regular rate of $45, but for the $30 deals on Golf Now this is a pretty good place to play. Course is usually maintained well, nice carts and good snack bar. Prices are too high at the snack bar, but the course conditions are really worth the value.
