Course was in great shape considering the freezing weather in the area for the last week. Some of the traps had frozen water in them and could use some maintenance, but other parts of the course were good. Course has some narrow areas but the landing areas where most drives would land were fairly wide and made room for some errors.

They had a frost delay the day we played but the course management did a good job getting us out on time and working with the weather. Course had been mowed and all the greens were in good shape.

Course is basically in a generally flat area but makes good use of the small elevation changes in the area to make a very playable and enjoyable course to play. Would be really challenging if you happened to play on a day where the wind was strong and this happens frequently in this location.

Course was in great shape considering this is the end of the summer and many courses have areas that are dead until the winter rains come but not here. Course has lots of elevation changes and is challenging for most all golfers.

Course has quite a lot of elevation changes and some sites that give you a great view of the area.

Course gives you a chance to use most of the clubs in your bag and has downhill and uphill holes with lots of good views of Mt Diablo and of the Delta.

Course is only 6,000 yards long but usually the wind blows on the course making up for the relatively short yardage. Fun course to play and in the afternoon not really that busy. The walking rate I received for the course was terrific.

Course is in a pristine location on the edge of a large park with lots of beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Most holes have are either uphill or downhill from the tee box, some with doglegs. Really gives you a chance to try all your shots. Play is a little slow as tee times are booked fairly close so plan on a short wait on most tee boxes, but it isn't excessive. The surrounding hills protect this course from the coastal winds and fog.

Greens and fairways all in great condition. Front nine and back nine very different but that makes playing very interesting and challenging. Really enjoyed the day there.

Course varies from relative flat to areas where there are slopes that you have to deal with. Good challenging course with varied conditions. Sand traps need some maintenance and new sand added. Some areas on the edges of the rough needed some water but in general the course was in good shape.

The course has wide fairways at the places where most golfers drives would end up so it is easy to stay on the course. The holes tend to be long with lot of views so it makes it real enjoyable. Lots of hills and elevation changes but a fun course to play.

Start was right on time and pace of play was slow as a large group plays on the day of our tee time and they were running late. Marshall was not allowed to ask them to speed up because they come every week.

Lots of different challenges on this course and usually plays at a good pace but they had some type of tournament ahead of us and they didn't have any marshalls to keep the pace going so it was very slow. Waited on every hole. Course is very fun to play as you usually use most every club in your bag.

Carts off paths and fairways dry enough for balls to bounce and roll, greens very fast and well maintained.

At first appearance course looks like it will be easy, but the holes are long with some doglegs and water on a few holes. Unless you are a long hitter (250 yards+) it will be very hard to score low on this course. Greens have subtle slopes that require careful reading to make correct putts. Very walkable course as it is out in the valley so not a lot of elevation to work with. Pace of play was good.=

Good course and fairly easy to play and stay on the fairways, but still requires good shots to score well.

Long travel from Bay Area but worth it if you can stay overnight. Course was not busy after noon so there was no pressure from other golfers. Back 9 was definitely harder than the front. Weather was perfect and really enjoyed this course. Condition was excellent.

Course was in good shape just played a little slow as they had no marshal out on the course

The course was real busy on Tuesdays as they have a special 4 golfers for $100.00 that day, so play was a little slow. Course was in good condition. It is a challenging course and plays well when winds are light. Very challenging if you hit one of those days when the wind in the Delta Valleys is blowing stronger. Lots of elevation changes and lots of differences in all the holes makes playing this course fun, but challenging. Not really a beginners course but all others will have fun here.

This is the easier course of the two at this location and is not maintained to the same standard as the other course but still is a good one to play and the cost is very fair.
