New Course at Headfort Golf Club

Got a great deal to play this course with a friend. It wasn't busy which was great as we could play at our pace.
Friendly pro shop staff. Look forward to playing again when hopefully the weather will be better!

Mid to high handicappers will like this course, fairly open, course layout keeps you moving, Tee boxes are a bit scattered and sign posting could be better but all in all a very enjoyable round of golf with friendly staff and well worth the money.

An excellent course beautifully designed and laid out. Very challenging for a high handicapper but still enjoyed it. Some gorgeous holes like 7 and 15. If you get a chance to play here take it.

Although it was a wet day the course was still fantastic, every hole looks superb.

Played my first round of golf after 10 months due to the Covid pandemic. While I was not up to scratch due to my inactivity the same cannot be said for the course, from tee to green the course was in great condition, with some stunning holes.

I played the new course for the first time and was more than impressed. The course condition was immaculate and had some stunning holes. The fairway were wide and forgiving and the greens were perfect. Highly recommended.

Will definitely be back was well worth the hours drive, makes you think about your golf game of every hole, course played excellent considering the weather we had, look forward to getting back..

Played Headfort's new course on 5/4/17. I was surprised by how dry the course was in comparison to other nearby courses where balls are plugging quite badly on the fairway. We had no such issues at Headfort, drainage is obviously superb. The course, as is well known, is one of the finest parkland courses in the country. Every hole presents a unique challenge. Water does come into play on a lot of holes, which I enjoy. Greens are faultless, which is a testament to staff as other courses in the area are still a bit 'wintery' looking. Staff were very friendly and food afterwards in the beautiful clubhouse was delicious and very affordable. Cant speak highly enough of this course, will definitely be back again and again.

Pro shop staff were very friendly course is super great condition really enjoyed it if u can try get dwn to play wont b disappointed as an amature golfer its a great challange some great par 3s and some cracking par 5s just go play it greens excelent

Second time playing this fantastic course for the time of year the course was in superb condition had a bite to eat in clubhouse after round very reasonable and and tasty certainly would return again and recommend to any one wanting a good test of golf.
