Great Course!
Make sure you hit it straight! Tree lined fairways will eat you up! Beautiful course and nice layout. Staff was great as well!
Course was great and checkin staff was super nice. Just we only got to play 9 or our 18 due to pace of play. We got 9 holes done in nearly 3 hours and it was due to booking I bleieve.
Great Course
Tall trees, the course is in great condition, friendly bartender. Challenging but not overly difficult. Great lay out for a course.
Very slow play!
Loved the course but the pace of play was terrible. They need to have a Marshall to keep people moving or instruct groups to let people play through. Staff in the clubhouse are great but I didn't see anyone other than beer carts on the course.
Very slow pace of play.
I am not kidding when I say there was a fivesome in front of us and an eightsome in front of them. I believe this was some type of event they were having and it was super slow. Other then that it was well worth 20 bucks.
First time here and have played a couple of courses in the area. I lived the layout, course was in great shape...had to join a threesome and had a blast with the guys...Med school students. Pretty short course but can be challenging. Best course I’ve played in the Midwest so far.
Get what you pay for
I had heard good things about the course based on the cost/value. For $25 for 18 holes with a cart, I guess it's hard to complain. If you are used to a mid to upper-level course I would stay away. The course is long, but the holes are on top of each other and the pace of play is very slow. Right now the course smells like dead fish based on the recent flooding so that is a big warning until it dries up. If you like to grab some jeans or a cut off and pay less then $30 to golf, this is the place for you. If you have high standards, you will be disappointed.
Enjoyable round!
Always enjoy playing this course. A perfect blend of challenge and playability. An added challenge on this trip was the thick rough. Not sure if it was a result of the frecent wet weather, but it was certainly a factor on scoring on this day!
Smells awful
Due to recent floods the course had water cover some of the lower areas. Those area drying up now and have dead rotting carp in there that smell something awful. And we played on a day there was 25mph winds. I can’t imagine if it was a calm day..
Foul odors
Great round today, only objections; the course was not only over booked, but everyone was being told that GolfNow was forcing pairings to fill out foursomes. I’ve been using GolfNow for years and have never once been told my twosome was paired with another twosome by GolfNow.
Second, there was a awful smell the moment you stepped out your car, all the way into the first tee. Smelled as if something died, and it wasn’t until we were on the 10th hole we found several dead fish in the drainage canal.
Been playing here for 3 years, my first bad experience.
Great course
Not only a great challenging but fun and challenging also. Water shots are always fun. The doglegs are great. Staff was awesome as always. Get this on a hot deal around 18-22 bucks and go
