Slow play
The play was extremely slow. Backed up on 1st hole 5-6 carts deep. They were sending people out like every 5 minutes. Walk ins without tee times were being put out on the course. They are going to loose their greens if some good maintenance is not done soon. Fairways looking pretty shabby too. We love playing here but it’s getting to be in pretty bad shape.
Nice course, friendly staff.
We've played Tri Cities several times the last three years and always enjoy it. The Woods is a tough 9 holes but the Pines and Lakes are better.
Good day
5 year old’s first round. Great day!!
Golf with grandson
Course in pretty good shape, grass skimpy in few fairways, a few greens had bare spots but overall was a great day on the course, pace of play good and staff was great. Will play there again, maybe some rain will help course!
God gave us a wonderful day to play
The scheduling of the round was seamless. The fairways were generous and well mowed. A couple of the greens had signs of stress. I would definitely recommend this course for a relaxing round.
Good value
Summer hot humid round, course played hard and fast. Greens were a little slow but rolled well.
A little rough
Staff was great but the course is in rough shape. Tee boxes are worn out and hard. The greens are hard a brick and look to be eat up with some disease. If they are not going to take care of the bunkers any better than they do, they just need to fill them in and sow grass. But for the price paid, it was playable.
Good Value. Excellent Greens.
It has 27 holes the Lakes, The Pines & The Woods. The Lakes was added in about 1993. The Army Corp of Engineers put that together. It's a "Country" course. Hitting off the fairway is like hitting off your lawn (or like hitting off of my lawn) sure, there's clover, etc but the newer Lakes nine holes have less weeds, etc.
It's long. And it plays long. They have some seniors tees and every Friday they have quite a large gathering of older gentlemen that don't hold up play in the least. In fact, you might hold them up. They can shoot the eyes out. In 1993 on Super Bowl Sunday, I raced a senior to the hospital for a quintuple bypass. Eight weeks later , Art Banks was teeing off on number one,
It's a nice course, rich with history.
Good value, good course
Tri Cities is a challenging course for an intermediate golfer.
Great course
Unfriendly staff at the counter. I tried making conversation with him but all he said was “Last name, start at the pines and turn to the lake’s “ The last time I played there, about a months ago it was the same way. I like the course so I will go back but will not try to have a conversation with him.
A great day
Was in the area out of town and found Tri Cities Golf to be an excellent place to hangout for the day! Played the 2 of the 9-hole courses and would have loved to of played the 3rd if II had time.
Good course, great weather
We play Tri Cities a few times a year and enjoy it.
Great Pace of Play
Today was a warm breezy day. Considering the late winter play date, we were blessed with high 60 degree weather. The course was not crowded in the morning, but it looked like more folks were playing in the afternoon. Good day out with my son.
Love the course but the staff in pro shop is never friendly. Not much of a selection in pro shop. Ladies at food bar always nice.
