Covid guidelines being ignored- 2 thumbs down
I booked a round as a single as I thought I would be able to get a cart by myself cause my wife is immuno-compromised. There was no mention on their site that carts were to be shared.
Upon check in, nobody was wearing masks indoors but the sign on the door required masks to be worn indoors at all times!. I was told they were doubling up on carts. I asked to walk as I prefer to (it is allowed) but they wouldn't let me. Pro looked down his nose at me and said (in a snarky way) something about the course being too hilly for me. Well I got news for you boys, I grew up playing mountain golf in NC and our courses are a lot steeper to walk than your little "hilly" course.
Because of their lack of concern and their arrogant attitudes, I chose not to play and took a loss on green fees and wasted time. I drove 1.5 hours one way to play the course.
I WILL NEVER give this place my business if this is how they choose to operate. Their lack of concern regarding the virus is simply appalling. We will continue to endure this public health crisis as long as people show the kind of attitude as the folks at Tri-Cities.
Good Course, good value
Tri Cities is a challenging course for me. It was a very busy day which made play slow.
Lots of leaves.
My son and I enjjoyed our Lakes/Woods 18 on a beautiful late fall day. The course was in good condition We found the Woods side to be more challenging than the Lakes. The fallen leaves made for a treasure hunt to find our balls. Considering the time of year and the convenient location of Tri-Cities, we felt we more than got our money's worth.
Good course fir money
Enjoyed round course in good shape. Greens hold good but have several that have sloped edges and run off
Well maintained course.
My son and I enjoyed the Pines Nd the Lakes. Great deal through TeeOff web page. Easy check in and exit.
Challenging course
The Pines and Lakes are good 9 holes each. The woods are very challenging for me as a bogey golfer.
Terrible service
Terrible service except for mexican working the carts
Slow pace
Hadnt played the course in 5-6 yrs and may be more than that if we play it again. Even though the course was in great shape, for a 27 hole course, pace was extremely slow. Sure seemed like 95% of golfers were started on the same 9 hole course. Took almost 3 hrs just to play 9 holes should have played 18 in that length time with 27 holes to play.
27 hole course
Easily lose a ball if you miss fairway because of an abundance of clover in the rough that swallows golf balls. Pace of play is very slow when you have to hunt for a ball in the first cut of rough
27 Holes.
Bunkers are terrible and rough has way too much clover. Miss the fairway and you can easily lose a ball. Slows pace of play hunting for balls just out of the fairway
Terrible management of tee times
I’ve played this course 10+ times and have never played the 3rd nine, “The Woods”. They put everyone on lakes and pines and it gets backed up before you make the turn. Should spread out tee times to all three 9s.
Im going to select things that didn't happen for 1000 Bob.
Singles ride all day alone and they have plenty of single walkers.
