Greens and fairways were in great shape, GPS units are top notch with 10in screens. Definitely play again soon
Will Not Be Back
My experience here was terrible. I was told after checking in, to go to the Lakes course because it was "wide open". Got to the tee and there was a foursome teeing off. Not exactly wide open but its no big deal I'll just wait. Then a group of older women drive pass me and wave. I go to tee off and they start teeing off in front of me. I yell at them and they didn't care, Just hit and took off. I told management at the clubhouse. Instead of riding out with me and setting them straight, they told me to play another course. So I play my first 9 and come back. I asked the front desk what 9 I should play next, They said "go to the Pines...it should be wide open". I get to the 2nd Tee and there is a group of 6 teeing off, and I could see another foursome below in the fairway. I turned around and went home. The fact that they did NOTHING about the group that skipped me, and that they sent me out right behind of group of 6 (not sure why they let groups of 6 play on the weekend) shows they have no idea what they are doing. I won't go back.
Nice Greens
Greens have recovered from recent aeration. Speed is moderate. Fairways are thin, firm and fast. Rough isn't too penal. Lots of elevation changes. Minimal water in play. I played the Woods and Lakes nines. Fun layout but wouldn't want to play every day. Kind of a boring layout.
course needs work
fairways were dry and hard, grass has not come in
still punch marks in several of the greens
duffer3
Nice course good shape ! Greens in good shape .Grass coming on nice .carts and GPS are real nice !! Would recommend this course to anyone coming to the tri cities !!!
Christmas golf
Good course condition for the beginning of winter. And good value too.
Good Conditions for a Good Value
This course offers great value for the money, as it is in good condition. While there is a lot of room off the tee for those who are less than consistent, there also interesing opportunities for those who are capable of hitting accurate tee shots.
beautiful course
The course is actually three different courses. You can play multiple different ways. The greens are very fast. They had a small geese problem. But overall a 5 star course
Good course for the money
The course is a good play for the cost. Average to good course conditions. Greens all make for accurate irons or good touch around the greens.
Great Course for the Money
The have the awesome GPS system on their new Club Car golf carts that you normally see at resorts and private clubs. Great experience for such a low cost. Definitely a great value!
