Nice Track for a casual round
course is in decent shape. Water seems to collect in certain areas. Fairways need to be trimmed better. Greens were decent. The only thing that is aggravating is that I booked on golf Now which was the same rate in the clubhouse, so I paid fees for nothing. My feeling is that there should be some savings on golf now. I guess my fault for not doing due diligence
Good course, but only if for the right price.
After some recent rains, the course was in pretty good shape, and looked really good. The price of food and beverages is WAY overpriced.
Dissappointed
We went through the first nine easily...great course.
Got to the back nine and everything was clogged up, to the max, much more than we have ever seen anywhere in playing over 30 years. Not only were there walkers in front of us taking so much time to move on, but we could see 8 carts in front of us on the next hole.
WestPark, you have a good course, but you have no Marshall governing what is going on...GET ONE
Great Outing
Here is my only comment...the grass on the immediate rough was a little deeper than what I have seen it in the past.
It was a hot day...
Course was in good shape; however, the coordination of a tournament that started HOURS before our tee time made the round extremely long.
God value
The course was in good shape and the greens were in excellent shape but as a public course they have the uneducated golfer all marks that went unrepaired hole after hole. I bought 2 rounds for $25/each with cart and for the money it was an excellent deal.
Nice Course
Course was in good shape, greens rolled very well. It's a tight course with small greens, so a great test of your shot placement. It's a great value, paid $40 for a 2pm tee time on a Sunday. Folks are friendly, good pace of play. Will go back to sharpen my skills.
Great value
This course is in great condition right now. Usually can get it for a steal price. If I had to nit pick about the course it is that the tee boxes are not leveled.
Overall a great golfing experience, but...
Greens are in great shape. Course overall in fantastic condition. Fair prices. However, the pace of play was brutal. Also the elderly gentlemen in the proshop needs to relax and smile.
Good value
Rough was extremely thick and greens were fast and inconsistent. Overall it was a fun course to play and great deal for your money. Not the greatest conditions but had some fun holes. Would recommend
punching well above its weight
This is actually a pretty-good course tucked into an armpit of Leesburg. It's not very long and in fact even from the back tees it will appear on the short side, but it's not an easy course, the fairways are tightened up in proportion to the length, OB is always in play and you really have to be on your game here to score well. Plus it has several island greens, approach-shots over water, up-hill tabletop greens...and the rough is about the thickest that I've ever seen. A real challenge of a course. But, relatively short. So it is really all about your game, and not about length.
Oh and it was $20 with a cart on GolfNow. On a Saturday. In May. True the greens had been aerated within the past few weeks but they were almost fully-recovered and it really was well worth the money. A steal of a deal of a course and I have played courses that cost me twice as much even on Golfnow that were not as good, certainly not as much of a challenge. If you think that you are a player and you're not then this course will humble you. And if it doesn't humble you, then you really are pretty-good. You're not going to play this course well for 18 holes without some real skill. But it's so cheap and short that you can come out with a bunch of hackers and duff the course up and still have a good time...it is, without a doubt, a standard-bearer for short but still very-good budget neighborhood 18-hole courses.
Westpark Leesburg
My girlfriend and I went out for a round of 18 with a cart on an early Wednesday afternoon. The staff was very friendly, especially the woman working the snack bar. We enjoyed our round greatly, the pace was perfect and it was a great course for my girlfriend to learn on since she is a new player. I would recommend this course to new players looking to play on a budget.
Great value
The course was in pretty good condition, much better than the first time I played it earlier in the year. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I will definetly play again, especially when you can play 18 holes with a cart for under $30.
Will be back
Easy to access, pace of play was perfect. Only 2 holes had very damaged grass. #10 and #18 are challenging. Had a lot of fun with this course.
Fun course
Fun course to play but rarely in good condition. Friendly staff. Very flexible with tee times and lenient with late add ons too tee times. Average pace of play. Overall fun course.
Any Course in a Storm
It was supposed to be a 60 degree day in February and I found a good price so I went to my favorite bargain course. Nice surprise when I arrived and they gave me a senior discount. Bad surprise when it never got over 50. The layout is good but the course itself is only fair. Consider it a practice course, keep your expectations low and you will enjoy yourself. Carts included in the greens fees. You don't want to walk this course - too many hills and tees well apart from greens.
Great course
Great course for the money. Over all in very good shape. Staff is great and always helpful.
Coarse is fun for every level of play.
Cheap and good
This course's rate is very very good. And condition of fairway Is good. There are no divot on the green. The grill is closed because of few player.
cheap rate...
our tt is at 12:30.had 3some in front of us whoes play so slow that even we had four players but we still have to wait every single hole ,no boby in front of them and at hole 15 one of the player in their group got very frustrated and spear one of the club on to the green and digged a big hole then walked away .we had to fix the green for them. marshall no where to be seen.
