Fun day in the sun!
Shame, the total lack of care off the bunkers (unplayable in many cases) and inconsistent greens conditions are getting worse. Fairways and staff were good.
With a Little Bit of Love
Thanks for getting rid of the geese. They were a nuisance. Now if you could get players to repair ball marks on greens and replace their divots…what’s wrong with people? Also, you should either rebuild the sand traps or make grass bunkers out of them.
Poor conditions but still a good deal
The course is “rough” but the price was right. The fairways are soft and look like the first cut of rough, the bunkers are terrible (just hard dirt - no maintenance done on them for some time), and the greens are OK but lots of unfixed ball marks and other damage.
The best part of this course is the restaurant and bar. Great food and a good selection of beer on tap.
Good to have a round there
still winter, the bunkers do not clean yet, the green is slow, hope that both will be improved during summer.
Good course, needs some work
10 years ago Homestead was a great course, but with some ownership questions the course has had some wear and tear. Fairways are great, greens need some work. I really like the course layout and the price was great, friendly staff, restaurant was a little over pricey
A shell 9f it's former self
First round at Homestead since pre-pandemic. Was very disappointed. Course was once an outstanding track, now in a state of disrepair. Tee boxes beat up and full of broken tees, many greens had large damaged areas and all sand traps were nothing more than dirt and weeds. Fairways were generally OK and layout remains very good. Unfortunate that they have let the course get to such a state of disrepair. We won't be back again unless we hear the course has been adequately rehabbed.
Nice Walk on farmland
Winter conditions the course is rough at this time of the year, but the price is good for what you get
Good restaurant to enjoy after.
GREAT FULL SIZE COURSE
This is a great full size course with an excellent layout! Excellent practice & off course facilities. We played it in early spring conditions, so was very soft. I’m sure the maintenance staff will be doing a lot of winter clean up. The greens had some markings and the bunkers could use a resanding, but all and all a very enjoyable experience!
Wet conditions, greens have deteriorated. Player need to start to repair ball marks on the greens. Bunkers are virtually unplayable. Nice track overall. Enjoying the un-crowded conditions.
UGH!
This course needs some serious love! Tees were beat to death, sand traps were equal to dirt pits with various sized rocks strewn throughout, fairways were dry and lacked watering and the greens are diseased and rough. Had extremely slow players in front and no marshal available when requested. Pro shop was grossly lacking inventory. I would not recommend this course.
Fun!!
In this area on vacation
Randomly pick the golf course.
Golf course was very dry greens pretty worked over, sand traps, full of weeds
That being said, the course was very challenging lots of traps and hazards to work around
The staff was super accommodating and friendly, the first day I came. I got my teatime wrong. I was an hour late they were super cool and just let me play in.
Overall, I had a great time here with my son playing a couple rounds of golf
Would definitely come back!!
pretty bad
Over grown bunkers with no sand
Greens were pretty much beat up. Looks like they are just taking money until no one shows up. Golf elsewhere
