This course has a fun layout with interesting features and risk/reward
We like this course even though all the grass is dormant now. The greens had been arreated a few weeks ago but have healed nicely but were in need of cutting. We were disappointed that the restaurant had closed but were told by the employees that they hoped to have a new lessee by the 1st of the year. This is a fun layout with nice views of Lake Reno on the back nine.
The greens are a challenge to putt
Disappointed with condition of greens. Other than that its a nice setup. I probably will not return there to play until the greens are in better shape.
Decent track
Played all 27 holes one week day as a single so can't really judge pace of play except to say that they permit 5-somes (at least for members...). Conditions were mostly good except a lot of leaves on the greens. Staff was very nice.
Needs some work
I might not have caught this course on its best day (dead winter grass) but there are other issues that needs some attention such as spotty greens & bare spots in the fairways. Otherwise the course has an interesting variation in layout and great potential. The staff I dealt with was very nice.
This course has some good challenges and a good layout
The day I played was a very windy day that made some of the holes a lot tougher but overall the course was in good shape. The greens had been aerated recently but they played good. Overall I had a great day and scored lower than my average
A little difficult against the wind....but birdied the Par 5 with the wind!
Great round. Was aware of the aerated greens....no problem. Had a great day.....found 3 golf balls...two were PRO V1's....WOW
Has a very nice layout but is still a country pasture land. Not plush fairways.
The layout of the course was very nice and somewhat challenging. Fairways were mostly just cut grass with alot of weeds but very forgiving. The greens were very adequate in size and undulation. The greens had just been aerated but should be fairly fast in a few weeks. The staff was very friendly and apologized profusely for the aerated greens as we had to play the back nine twice.
nice course with some challenging holes
Usually course is in good shape, but yesterday the back 9 was closed due to green airification. Golf now did not note this on your web site and had to play the front nine twice, with course being stacked up and slow. Normally course is in good shape and is fun to play, requiring one to use all the clubs in the bag, as it has short pars 4s, long par 5s and par 3s guarded by water. Fun course and worth the price.
Great course, drought has damaged the grass a bit
I like this course. Challenging but not so difficult that beginners can't handle it. The staff is great.
