Fun course but needs attention
The course is fun to play. However, the course is in disrepair. They course needed to be mowed. I lost a ball right off the green because the grass was so high. The fairways were full of weeds. Fix the turf and the course would be much better.
Excellent course
By far the best course I've played, although I'm still very new to golf. The greens play very fast, but I enjoyed the layout of the course with several par 4s and 5s and being very open (beneficial especially for beginners). Was rushed a bit on the front 9 due to the twilight time discount, but back 9 played at a comfortable pace. I would recommend this course to anyone and will return shortly!
Crimson Creek is always a good time
The course is in good shape! It is wide open but it has plenty of character with trees and water. Best value for the money in the metro area!
Taxes and green fees charged twice!
After booking tee time with Golf Now, my confirmation stated that I would owe $44 at the course. I already paid green fees and taxes to Golf Now. The operator in the pro shop charge me taxes and green fees again, briniging my total to $49.00. So far this is the only course I know that double charges.
Don't know if this is a problem with Crimson Creek or Golf Now, but I hope this gets rectified in the future.
Wide open
I enjoyed the course. It plays well to the weekend golfer. The course is wide open. It's in the process of adding trees to the fairways. The resteraunt is nice and updating. The bar area called Silo is awesome.
Nice course with reasonable fees
Nice greens but fairways could use some irrigation. Otherwise fun course with some challenging holes. Newer carts which are nice and course is maintained well. Staff is always great.
Worth the drive !
Fairways are too hard but it's always been that way. The best design in greens that I have played on they are awesome love the slopes and subtle breaks that you can't see very challenging ! Bring your short game !
Good course
This course was in good shape ! One hole was being worked on but didn't take away from round I will be back !
nice litle track not so for walkers long between the t-boxes
some greens needed some attention but not to bad would recommend it to other golfers
Better greens
Crimson creek has made several improvements this season. The greens are the most improved, the fairways are getting better. It's above average course and getting better.
Great Out of City Course
I am in Oklahoma City for training and lucky enough to play some golf. Crimson offers either a fast or at your own pace kind of round. I enjoyed playing this course twice and find that it offers both a touch of difficulty and chances to score. Great well rounded course for a very nice price.
Play in 4 weeks
Friendly staff, great course. They are in the process of fixing greens - should be a great course in 4 weeks.
Crimson creek
Staff is very friendly, course conditions were decent. Will definetly play there again.
Pleasantly surprised!
This course has more elevation change than is apparent from Google Maps. The greens were in great shape and the undulations and speed made them very challenging. If its your first time, ride don't walk. Will play again.
Fairways need watered.
It is a fun course to play, like the layout. However the fairways were dried out, great for ball roll but tough to find a good lie. Sand traps were also an issue they were packed down way to much. Need to work them. We were able to play for around $20 so we felt it was worth it.
No etiquette!
I am all about expanding the game of golf. However, I also think that you have to be honest about your skills and the type if course you are playing at. There was no Marshal on the course to police the pace of play. We had to skip a hole because of a foursome that was averaging 15 minutes a hole. Again, my friend and I are no professionals ourselves. We shoot inconsistent 85-95. But, we can normally get the ball off the tee box.
Solid Design
Better course with water in the ponds. Played a few years ago during drought. This was much better.
Crimson
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens rolled very true. No 19th hole effort.
of course
great clubhouse and food. my friend forgot his clubs and had some difficulty finding a decent set to rent but it turned out okay
mowers anyone???
Course is in very good shape.............greens rolling true and quick.....Fairways in good shape, just needed to be mowed!! And probably more than once a week!!! Very challenging in places, yet, the south wind makes the rest of it difficult!! Better shape, much, than i expected from past experience!!
