Annoyed by the slow foursome
When we got there we didn't know there was only one 18hole course open but whatever the north course is always fun to play and the course was in good shape and the weather was beautiful but the foursome in front of us were so slow we waited on them just about every hole, it was so annoying!!
Nice Course
I enjoyed this public municipal course (played also quite well which helps in wring such a review). The driving range is excellent, and the different holes are quite interesting and forgiving. Looking fwd for the new course that is being developed now.
Excellent condition & good staff!
I am very satisfied and had a good time playing this golf course!
Course lay out good!
I enjoyed playing this course. This is my 2nd time here. I just had my first hole in one on the 11th hole par 3 (white). I definitely will play this course often when I visit my daughter here in San Lorenzo. I'm from New Jersey and this is my 10th year playing golf. The guy at the pro shop showed me the video clip, took a pic and said they will frame it and if I want a plaque (at my expense), they'll order it. Cool! Made my day!.... Dwight "Ike" Maddela
Course
It been a while since i played the course i like see the omprovement on south when it is done
Thatch
Course is in overall good condition given the historic drought. My only real complaint is that the tee boxes are so full of Bermudagrass thatch that my tees aren't long enough to get into the earth and the turf so spongy that I would lose my balance when swinging my driver. Time to detach Mr greenskeeper.
Declining course
Course seems to be declining; might be from water restrictions though, and preparation of South course
Course great shape
Enjoy the course pace of play weather was great
Great Greens
Although the construction of the South Course has been underway for a while, the VALUE you get on a weekend from various websites makes this course a great 4+ hours of golf. The best aspects of this course are its greens. They were fair, fun. but unpredictable.
Good Deal
for the money. Good walking course.
Ol corica
North course is fun. Good for noobies too. The course is in decent shape some of the greens could be better. I like this place for a quick evening round
Golf buddy
I like playing at this course people are freandly .i also got my golf lesson at this place with woody highly recommend
Nice, medium length course
I used mostly 3 Woods off the tee at Earl Fry, as accuracy is far more important than distancr on this course.
The greens were slower than in the past, might be time for a trim & roll.
Lots of fun
I played this course for the first time as a single. Joined a great threesome on the third hole. Great having local help negotiate a new track. Good variety of holes, some pretty challenging. Greens were pretty darn good.
I drive an extra 10 miles and pay for toll over other more expensive courses
This course is easy. Always shoot my best rounds here (when I'm sober). Greens roll true and there's just enough of a layout to make you think sometimes. Pace of play can be slow (5+ hours) in the middle of the weekend but it's expected. Can't wait until they have Jack Clark rebuilt.
Driving range is nice, balls are not beat up. Par-3 course is nice and new.
They have the new GolfBoards too.
nice course & nice price
Played this course for the first time with a friend and had a great time. Very uncrowded conditions, started play at 5pm and finished at 8pm (twosome). Nice flow to the course and nice medium level of difficulty. Greens and fairways in good shape. At $18 we will definitely play again.
CHUCK CORICA GREAT DAY OF GOLF
Great course to learn how to play the game of golf! Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Course is fair, not too tough, but enough trouble (hazards) that will make you pay!! Challenging for a starter but fun and rewarding! A BAD DAY ON THE COURSE IS BETTER THAN ANY DAY AT WORK!!!! Shot my best round ever, 88!!!
Nice layout but a bit old
Fairway renovation recommended
Course improving
I play Chuck Corica golf course frequently since I live 5 minutes away. The Earl Frey North course is the only one open now, since the South Course is being redone. The condition of the course is much improved recently after the rains in March. Both fairways and greens are in good shape. During the week it takes my group 4 to 4 and one half hours to play. Weekends take at least 5 hours. The course is flat and relatively forgiving and can be walked with little difficulty.
