course was in excellent shape. Green were perfect, not too fast. there is a driving range right by cart pick-up. good layout, one poorly designed hole with on course local rule OB.

Slow play four groups waiting on one tee box should of had a ranger move some people

Course was in great shape. Greens and fairways were both well maintained. Group spacing was perfect. Played as a foursome and were finished in 4 hours

Best course in western Chicagoland area - and the food is great!!

Course is challenging for all types of golfers. Some great holes with risk/reward challenges and elevation changes, which will demand some thought for club selection. Overall a great value for local area residents.

This was a great course, the clubhouse is beautiful. It was hard to tell that you were in Illinois a few different times. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

I found this deal on Golfnow, have wanted to check this course out for a bit. I got paired up with three other golfers, who were really nice guys. Course condition was great, pace of play was slow as it was a busy Saturday. Course was challenging enough for me but not to hard that it made my round unbearable. Overall a great facility, and GOOD course for the money.

It is such a great course and it makes you think and have a strategy for every hole. The back 9 has much more slope than the front. The back looks easier, because it's more open but I wouldn't say that's true.

They need to get the marshall on the course; and they need to repair the sand traps!

It had rained for two days, yet course was in great condition. They hadn't got to work on the bunkers, before I played, but beside that, you couldn't tell, that it rained soooo much. Driving range was good, and the course was in great shape. little out of the way. Corn, corn, corn, and then a beautiful course. Staff was very nice, can't wait to go back. I saw a brunch buffet, that looked outstanding, also. Next time I will hit that also.

A lot of thick brush, especially on the front 9. Easy to loose golf balls on this course. Seems as though the front and back are two completely different courses. Both a lot of fun though. Can't find a course like this in the south or western suburbs.

Nice course but while we played the front right at 2 hours the back 9 took 2.75. It was wait at every shot and it got pretty frustrating. Not something I would want to do again.

Excellent shape with all the rain we've had. Beverage girls were friendlier than tha pro shop staff, all in all excellent course for the price paid...

Whitetail is a nice layout and easy to see trouble in front of you. You will enjoy the beauty of the course and expanse of the greens. the greens are not tiered with just a few having some slope to them, otherwise, smooth, flat and accomodating to approach shots. Some golfers could use some schooling on repairing ball marks, but you find that everywhere as people seem to think they paid their money and they can do whatever they want with no concern to others, but I digress.

I find the course easy but I also played from the blues and not the back tees. If I had played from the back tees. there is some lateral water and a couple of layup holes because of water, but nothing too difficult. For the most part, you can spray the ball around, (I did) and still be in the fairway. I think most will agree, this is a good course, not overly difficult and a good value when considering other course options in the area.

On a side note, the bunkers were filled with water and considered ground under repair, but this is attributed to a diluge of water the past week, and not indicative of the course or what is typical.

Course is in good condition, and staff is very friendly !

Marvelous layout, pristine condition and great staff!!!

First timer and didn't disappoint! From the great grass teed range and rolling hills is was awesome. There were no alike holes and we felt like we were in another state. Make the drive and it will be worth it!

First time playing this course, tried to play last year but couldn't make it happen, glad I finally made it out here. Fun Course ground was a bit hard so balls were rolling and bouncing more than usual but it did not adversely effect play. Will definitely recommend and play here again this year.

Good course for a newer one. Long par fours. Would defiantly play again!
