Fuzzy Greens
The course is obviously being worked on, as the greens have been over seeded, their grass long and very slow. Some tees on the back nine have been improved with sod.
PASS ON THIS ONE
COULD BE A NICE COURSE A BUT NEEDS A LOT OF MAINTEINANCE. GREENS HADN'T BEEN MOWED IN SEVERAL DAYS. I WON'T GO BACK.
upgrade of the course
I played their a few years ago and it was in terrible shape. The work they have done on the course has made the course a place where I want to play again. Good job
Worth a shot
As a former member this was the first round I have played there in 2 years. The owner is working hard at repairing the damage done by the previous owner. The full 18 is open and the overseeding gives a nice visual appeal. There are still some thin spots in the fairways and greens but it is really playable. The green are slow and there is still some lumps and bumps. Bunkers are well taken care of with a good consistentcy from bunker tof bunker.
I was very surprised in how well it is coming back.
Pine Ridge County Club
Although the course has been in a state of repair the last year or so, the still is a way to go. The winter grass over seeding is working & most greens are in fair/good shape. Time will tell when the summer grass comes in & we will know the true state of the course. The layout itself is somewhat challenging & there are a number of very nice golf holes (the 7th-10th & 18th come to mind). We saw numerous course maintenance workers repairing, mowing, etc., so some work is getting done. We all hope the efforts of the management & greenskeeper work, because this is truly a nice course to play. Good luck!
A Big Improvement
My husband and I played this course in March this year and went back last week and also played today as a foursome. We were all very pleased to see a great improvement in the course overall which is situated in a lovely setting. The fairways, green and tee boxes are much improved and we have had great 2 rounds. There has obviously been a lot of work put in to get it to this standard and we would recommend to anyone now. We had great lunches in the clubhouse served by very helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us and overall a lovely day was had by all. Do give a try !!
OK course
Course is in decent shape. Fairway grass is a little thin, greens were in good shape. Will play here again.
