Cimarron Golf Club
About
Cimarron Golf Club combines challenging golf with excellent landscaping and scenic views of surrounding mountain ranges. Although the course has many difficult elements, with four sets of tees it can easily accommodate different skill levels and abilities. The design of the golf course features numerous strategically placed bunkers and also desert waste areas. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. Functional yet attractive landscaping complements the course. Cimarron Golf Club, in addition to the golf course, has many practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and short game area with a bunker.

Osteen Cimarron
Very nice course. Challenging layout but it suited my game. Hot outside, so it wasn't crowded. I would definitely play there again. The price was right too.
Great course but stressful round
Love the course but it was a stressful round, my wife and I teed off about 10:30, I am a low/mid single digit handicap and my wife is a 10/12 handicap so we know how to play and pace, we had a twosome tee off behind us... as we got to the second hole a different twosome passed us, so they also passed the twosome behind us, I assumed they were just coming off 18 and decided to play more golf... then we were waiting for them, the rest of the day day was filled with people passing and backing up, by the time we got to the back nine it was a wait on every hole with groups as far as the eye can see, we left the course after 14 holes, very unorganized, I said something to the marshall on the 4th hole and he didn't think there was a problem, we never seen him again, course in nice shape but again not controlled at all
Fun
Nice course to play. Challenges for all levels of players
A great time as always
Always have fun playing this course, all the SC Grand courses, very nice summer condition and good pace of play... be back next weekend
Best bang for the buck
Played with 3 other Golf Now singles, all 4 over 55 years old & played the tips. Course was in awesome condition especially for the middle of August in Phoenix. Great comrades wit etiquette & skills, played in 3 hours & 20 minutes without rushing a single shot.
Under water
Played Sunday morning after a very heavy rain. Cart path only, but not courses fault. Had a few new lakes around course but should be good to go in a few days
One of the best Sun City courses. Interesting holes with fast but fair greens makes it a quality experience.
Excellent course
This is simply a beautiful course. The staff takes excellent care of this course. The fairways and greens were in great shape. I found that the greens can be challenging with the undulations and multiple levels. There are water hazards that you need to be aware of so that you can plan your approach shot.
The staff was friendly. The carts ran smoothly. I had a fun day with friendly people. I will be back.
Great Course
The greens were very challenging and pin placements made it more difficult. Course was in great shape. Would be happy to play it again ... now knowing some of the surprises we were not aware of.
Cimmaron
Although the course layout was interesting the day I played was not. I had Mowers, Thatchers and whatnot behind and in front of me. There was tons of clumped grass everywhere so very difficult to locate your ball. Pace of play was horrible.
Based on the above it was not a fun day but I would like to play again once the course is absolutely play ready.
Slow Pace of Play
They had way to many groups booked out on the course and had to wait on most tee boxes 5-15 minutes to tee off. Course was in fairly good condition and vary challenging with the hills and the sloped greens.
Beautiful Landscaping
Fairways were still a bit dry.
Best in Sun City Grand
Grand's 4 courses are fairly different. Cimarron is the hardest and most fun.
Greens were a little
Better Courses out there for the $$
Not a bad experience except the Ranger was a little pushy. We finished our round in 3:50 but were still told to pick up the pace. Was frustrating and we were hitting in to the foursome in front of us. Didnt like it that he made us feel rushed.
Will probably go somewhere else next time.
