really enjoyed the course, good mix of tough and playable holes

The course is fairly flat but challenging. Well placed bunkers and water on some holes. Their was a lot of maintenance crews on the course when I played so the noise level was high at times. I guess thats why the course is in such good shape. It is still pretty new and a lot of the trees are young. The tall fescue off the fairways presents a real challenge if you stray too far from the fairways. It was an enjoyable round.

As a twosome we played 18 in 3 hours, but were also 1st off. Looking forward to playing there again.

This is my third time playing Macatawa legends. A great experience has been had by all in my group each time we have played. Highly recommended.

From the outside, it looks quite ordinary. However, once we stepped onto the fairways, we were pleasantly surprised. The pace of play is good and each hole is well placed. I would definitely recommend it to players of all skill levels.

We played the course early in the morning during the week, and we had it to ourselves for the most part. The course is again in wonderful condition - I was told it is under new management. The grounds crews were very considerate of the golfers, and really do have this course in wonderful shape. Beautiful!

There was 1 big problem for the tee off time in michigan this time of the year if it is cloudy you have a very very hard time seeing pass 4.40pm so the tee off times that you are4 putting on there become a real problem for 3 to 4 guys to finish less than 4 hours soo it is pitch dark by 5.oo pm most nights need to change times here doesn,t really work

For this time of year the course was in great shape. The wind will be a major factor in club selection and you must land your shot to the green dependent on hole location. High handicap players will have a hard time on this course.

Course was in really good condition this year and while I know they had good crowds, pace of play was always pretty good. This is a top 5 area GR course that not many people know about.

GolfNow provided a great rate for this course which is pristine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition for being the end of the year. I would recommend this course for anyone who likes a challenge.

No complaints about this course, it is a true links and is very windy and open. I've played it with no wind at all also. This course plays really long but has big fairways and a lot of water on the front 9. The back nine also leaves a lot of room for error although water on the long par 5 makes it the hardest hole on the course. This ranks up there with pilgrims and bucks run. Condition is pristine. Only tip is bring your wind pants. 20 mph + in the afternoon.

Great course. Very challenging. Great deal. Very friendly.

Try not to go on a windy day. Otherwise this course is well worth the trip.

This was one of my favorite coures I played this year.
Not many tree's but water comes into play on a lot of holes. Fairways are large and greens are fast just a fun course.

Looks easy but usually is windy. Greens are big and fast. Water comes into play on 7 holes. All par threes are challenging. Lots of risk rewards on each hole. Course is in good shape. Watch were you are on the greens.

Course was OK and well maintained throughout. Friendly staff. Not busy as I was one of a handful of people there that morning.

Course plays longer than you would think. Wide Open course prevailing south west winds in the summer time of 10 to 15 mph, can make a lot of holes very challenging
