St. Petersburg Country Club

Course was in decent shape. Greens were hard and some patchy. Bunkers firm sand. Not worth the $70. Would play again for less than $50.

I normally enjoy playing this course. However, the course was very dry and fairways were sparse in many areas the day we played. Traps are of inconsistent quality. Greens are in average condition for a private course fast and tough to read. I'll play here again, but, in the meantime pray for rain!

Love this course. No holes cross and it has a nice layout. The condition like many public courses is overplayed this time of year. Given this is a private course and the green fees are higher, my expectations are higher. Would still recommend it.

Came down for a week. Last round played while here. Best of the three!

Overall great course. Greens were fast, which I prefer so I liked them. Course is in good shape for March. Staff made mention of "if the pro would have seen the collarless shirt he would have said something" even though I JUST bought the shirt Sunday at Bay Hill. So a TW Nike golf shirt that was bought at Bay Hill, that pros wear is ok for PGA tour and Bay Hill but not there? Other than that, this is a nice course and great layout.

First time playing this legendary course. It was in good shape with very fast greens. Course runs through a neighborhood and was overall fun. Course was average speed I’d of play. No cart girl on a busy Friday was surprising. But saved me money.

Course not in the best condition. Lift clean and place? Many slow groups and they do not let anyone place through. Members I guess?

Course layout was great.Greens were fast and true really receptive. The only drawback was the club rental which was atrocious at best. Allshafts were from stiff to senior along with 2 wedges that had 2different shafts. Very disappointing will never rent clubs Again. Nice driving range and putting green.

The course is in magnificent shape. Greens are great, fairways are fast and true. Just a great atmosphere. I paired up with 3 really good guys. Not a problem, but then, we played the front 9 in about 2:10. Not bad for Florida during "the season". Went to the turn, and waited 30 minutes to tee off on #10. No idea what happened, but I had to quit after 4 hours on 14 tee box. Rode back to clubhouse, and there was a 5-some that was a hole and half behind. Have to assume they were the bottleneck. Not a ranger in sight. Sorry, I love the course, and I know I am not a member any more, but too many other places to play. I know members get priority. I get that, but please, members wouldn't put up with this.

First time playing this course. I liked that every hole was what you saw from the tee. No surprises. Greens were very fast. Played 6,200 from the whites. The fairways were not too narrow. The grass was in good shape for February. Staff was friendly. Free range balls. Separate Snack shop was at the turn, not in the pro shop, which was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent course layout and friendly professional staff.

Just a wonderful links style course - no parallel fairways, excellent greens, and very well maintained. Check it out if you can.

I had a great experience playing the course. Friendly and very professional staff.

Nice, manageable course acceptable for all levels of play. Overall course maintained adequately as some areas could use a little bit more TLC but will not impact play. Tee time was 1100 Saturday morning and played round in 4hrs 15min, even with an elderly twosome walking 9 ahead of our 4.

Course in great condition, especially the greens. Course is not terribly difficult, but the greens are the great equalizer.
