Par-3 at Vista Valencia Golf Course

This course is very worthless would not recommend playing here bushes everywhere and you can’t sit and it looks like theres no one working there. I played today and there was a tree hanging at my view and I asked the superintendent that was there that there was stems falling if he can send someone to remove them and he didn’t say anything and left me hanging.Worst superintendent ever can’t believe they hired him

Got a good rate for Mothers day since our festivities were done the day before due to conflicting schedules...sent out a single...super friendly staff and bar cart gal...greens in A shape after the 3 week old punching..fairways B minus...some hardpan, some crab grass, but no big deal - Im a muni guy and bump the ball a little so all good. Tee boxes solid B plus...the layout is very sporty and intersting - the flip wedge par 3s are all tricky due to elevation, the par fours are all very solid, and the signature 17th island green always impresses...I promise you this is the most challenging and interesting par 61 course you will ever play! Plus the water and ravines invite tons of cool birds and creatures...saw a really cool skunk minding his own business...and, solid burger available and nice bar area...good proshop...didn’t use the range but it’s mats, which is a bummer...all in all a GREAT day!

I really like this course, but it was rough today because of irrigation and sand on all the greens. I will be back and hopefully it’s in better condition. as it usually is!

If you are a long bomber this course will take that arsenal out of your game. It's a par Par 61/64 course with lots of par 3. However don't be fooled they are long par 3 that requires proper shot placement. Fail to land on the green and your short game is tested. Fun and tricky. But what is really cool about this course is Bob and Susan. They are the nicest and warmest husband and wife duo. If you come to the course make sure you bring some doughnuts for Bob. As always FOREEEE!!!!!!!!

Love this course! Close to where I live and the course is fun with allot of challenges throughout! Definitely a great course and for a great value :-)

Little chilly yesterday when we played, but the course looks better after all the rain we have had. Poops from the geese where limited too, so the cleanups was good. Very friendly guy at the front desk when checking inn, and that is always a pleasure :-) We was a party of 4 and had a great time play and will be back again soon....

A windy day however with recent rains the fairways were lush and greens pristine.

Booked T time on Golf now 3 days ahead went there and there was tournament going on and there was delay of 6 to 8 hours . I canceled the booking

Rode the Blues (61.1/105/4386) with Keith and Jason mid day using Forelinx. POP was poor for an executive course, 4H, 15M on a packed Monday. Weather was great, close to 80 and clear with a little breeze.

Had never played here. Fun par 61 executive course with many more legitimate holes than the yardage would indicate. Three long par 3's ranging from 191 - 222 all the way down to three short ones ranging from 81 - 104. None of the par 4's were tricked up, and one was 452 from the Blues. Signature hole is #17, a downhill medium length par 3 with an island green. Overall, a well designed shorter course. The bones are there but the conditions (other than the greens) are rough to very rough around the edges.

The tees were poor. Numerous were thin/unlevel and could use divot repair.

Both the fairways and rough were thin with numerous areas of hardpan.

The sand I was in was surprising good. Greenside traps had plenty of sand, fairway traps were hard packed.

The greens were the high light of the course. Firm, reasonably smooth and downright quick going downhill. Could have been great "but for" all the pitch marks.

The customer service was excellent from everyone. Friendly player ambassador out making the rounds. No drink cart, but there was a busy snack shop at the turn. Basic carts, no GPS. Recommended knowing going in that the p[laying conditions will not wow you, but a fun layout.

We where 3 people playing today! It started out great as always with very friendly staff at the pro shop. We picked up our 2 carts and went to check in by the course (by the 1st T). The guy there today was pretty runde (his name was Jesse). We have always been treated nicely and had no problems before.
We might have not know all the rules, but I think Jesse was rude about it! He had no written rules when we requested it? We where 3 players and 2 of the players where in the same cart and shared the clubs, so we had to go back inn and pay $25 for renting a set. This have never been an issue before and we have always keep the pace and are respectful to others. This was not the only thing today! He also pointed out that I had a small bag like cooler in the back of the cart. We where told that we could not bring any food or any drinks with us. This have never been and issue before either, so It did not start of great today after all. I can't say 100%, but one of our players where "black" and it might have had something to do with it? However, we love the course and will give it another chance and will be back soon!

This is my home course due to the fact that it’s the only affordable option in SCV. Would you drive to play this course? No, but for $20 on a weekend it’s tough to beat. It’s surprisingly difficult for an executive. POP 3 hrs 45 minutes which is standard here. Greens are good, but many unrepaired ball marks, which again is standard. Teee boxes, average, traps average, fairways are below average. This course is played a ton as is the case for most American Golf courses. It appears that they put no money back into the course, but if you have a monopoly on affordable golf with sand canyon at $75 as my option I’ll keep playing vista.

I like the challenges and the obstacles this course gives me. Its has a little of everything and will definitely be back as often as I can!

I’ve played this course several times and each time has been enjoyable. The greens are kept up very well as is most of the course. There are a lot of squirrels and geese on the course which can be annoying....or funny depending on how you look at things. I’ve had food items taken from my cart by squirrels and geese refusing to get out of the way. Really the only drawback to the ‘wildlife’ is the droppings left behind. I would play this course more often if I lived closer to it.

I love this course! It gives you challanges in all the ways I like...good 3 and 4 par’s! I will be back! Goose poops could be cleaned up a little more frequently though!

We had a great day with our group of 3 players! There was some challenges throughout the course, but it made it fun! Had a few shots at the driving range first for warm up! Would definitely come back :-)
