Slow
Played and it was soooo slow , seems that tee times were too close , obvious beginners in front, if you can’t hit a ball over 80 yds you shouldn’t be playing this course, 3 to 4 groups waiting on tees , ridiculous again too many people walking dogs not giving a care if there’s a golfer trying to play a shot, greens not good even allowing for the time of year, spiked. Had to leave 4 holes as pace of play was that bad , saw others complaining too!!

Good course
But dog walkers all over the course!
I’m unlikely to play here again due all the none golfers strolling the course
Shame as it’s a nice golf course
Value for money
Where can you play an 18 hole course for such little money. The course is actually very well laid out with some tricky holes. What you will find is that there are a lot of walkers with dogs, most of who know to be careful, but they do delay your play.
I will play it again when I'm in Bournemouth. I have played iit 3 or 4 times and enjoy the course..
Too many dogs
Too many dogs who take your balls and urinate in your golf bag…
Great course too many dogs
Scared I was going to hit to one. Caused a lot of stress
First time
Greens very good we all enjoyed the day lovely scenery, shame about the dogs!
Great value course in Bournemouth
Great layout and conditions given the horrible weather recently. Club very hospitable.
Challenging Track
Love this course always gives me a true representation of where my games at however with the long layoff i would have expected it to be in better condition some of the greens were patchy which prevented a true roll to putting and cost me a few strokes
Post Lockdown
You would think that after 3/4 months of the course not being used by golfers the conditions of the golf course would be near the best they have ever been.
This was not the case, The greens for the first 5 holes were almost like playing a crazy golf course, The grass was way to long for a putting surface and the amount of bobbles in the greens as well.
The fairways were pretty mediocre with a lot of bold patches as well, Bunkers did not look like they had had any new sand in them for years and were very wet, Not what you would expect for a sand trap.
For a course that raves about it once being part of the European Tour it needs brining back to life.
Disappointed
The course is was badly maintained with the greens being the worst looked like they had divots all over them making them terribly uneven. The golf course is also a public walkway so there are loads of people walking all over the course making it very dangerous. Cannot understand why we should pay to have round of golf but public can walk for free
Lots on general public
Course was ok condition for this time of year. But the amount of general public on course was very off putting. Had to wait long periods for large groups to walk by and on two occasions had a dog pick up and run off with golf ball. Groups of kids sitting on greens and messing up greens. Wasn’t a great day out.
winter golf.
the course is still payable in the winter and is still quite busy. the greens and fairways are very wet in places.
