good public course
Well kept public course, we had the course to ourselves, starter was very helpful.
well worth the money
Great value, corse in excellent condition, very friendly welcome !!
Best I've seen this course for a while. Always a hard Chalenge of golf. Dog walkers are so rude though!
First time at Queens Park
Cracking little course, friendly staff and welcoming members. 'Club House' is a little battleworn but has everything you need.
Some challenging holes and quite a few holes where you cant see the green - the only thing I would like to see if potentially a bell at certain points to let the players behind know that the bigger hitters can tee off.
Will definitely be playing again soon.
Walkers on the course spoil the game
Course great but families with children and dog walkers cause mayhem for the golfer and constantly having to shout at people to move from the middle of the fairway.
Golf Course or Recreation Park
Having a golf buggy chasing us from the very first hole followed by a one ball, meant that we had to wait to let them after only the 3rd hole.
The quantity of dog walkers was simply amazing. Quite frequently we were able to count 4 or 5 in close proximity from several points around the course, but we reckon on around 60-70 dog walkers throughout the round. On top of that, there were many walkers, cyclist, groups of people just sat chatting at various points (2 groups in the centre of the fairways!), and children cycling through bunkers and over the greens. It was absolutely incredible and if we hadn't have experienced it then we wouldn't believe it. We felt like we were the ones in their way and inconveniencing their leisure time.
Quite simply, the balance was massively out of kilter, and needless to say we won't go back, ever!
Queens Park
A good fun value for money round as always. Sure it's been said before but lucky I had a spotter with the public wandering around course and in dangerous positions. As a public course it's a decent challenge.
off work
course in good condition greens were good lots of dog walkers good job I have insurance great days golf
Great course but watch out for dog walkers
First time we've played this course and we will back in the summer. We were met in the pro shop by the manager who gave us a warm welcome. Due to the weather the first five holes were frost covered and hard, after that where the sun gets on the course there were no problems and showed the true course which played very well.
The only negative was the amount of dog walkers which appeared from angles and due to the undulating course you aren't always able to see them.
Overall great value for money
