The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Fun golf course, great staff

Raccoon Creek is fun, beautiful and in a casual atmosphere. They do have a restaurant and bar I’ll check out.

Pace of play needs help

5 hour rounds are not fun. Others have expressed their concern of slow play and I see why. Would be a fun place if it kept moving. Course was in solid shape but greens are slow.

Borderline miserable round of golf

When it takes 1.5 hours to play 3 holes, something is wrong. Even worse, the ranger/Marshall said there was nothing he could do and pace of play is usually around 5-5.5 hours. In over 25 years of playing golf and 10 years working at a course, never have I seen 4 foursomes on one hole. Tee’d off at 1:30 and only got through 15 holes before dark. Saving grace was the best beverage cart girl I’ve ever encountered. She genuinely felt bad for everyone and did everything in her power to make people happy. Terrible experience with the exception of the bev cart. The marshall not doing his job whatsoever and arguing with all the golfers cost the course a lot of money. Course layout and condition were fine but when you’re waiting 20+ minutes on every box it ruins the experience.

Love the layout

Course was really wet (morning tee time) when we played but in great shape. Greens were quick and rolling true. I used every club in my bag which to me is a great golf course. Multiple practice greens throughout the facility and a good size driving range. Would recommend playing and great place to play again
