Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

person ahead of us napping while waiting to tee off Photo submitted by u000007966850 on 07/21/2015
3 hours for 9 because I gave up
Honesty, I love the course itself. It took 3 hours to play the front. Marshall told us it was because of a tournament, like we should understand. Mismanaged time and packing people in.
They also put a lunatic in my cart with me that was telling me about his stock portfolio fir 3 hours. Buy a few more carts guys. Bush league.
When you tee off at 2:00 on a 95 degree day and manager knows play is slow, give out some drinks, have honest conversations, give people the option not to tee off.
So disgusted I did not go in for a 9 hole rain check. If they argued I know I would of lost my temper. I feel ripped of. Did get an eagle on 9 though.
Get it together folks.
Arrive early and expect a long day
This venue is used for weddings & events. Parking was limited and very far from the clubhouse. No bag drop signs were available and cart staff did not assist with patrons parking at the bottom of the hill, far from the clubhouse. The kitchen was closed due to the event and restaurant seating was mostly limited to a very loud inside area. The front 9 played smoothly, but the pace on the back 9 was miserably slow. Multiple fairways and holes were visible at most places while playing the back. It felt crowded and painfully slow. This wasn't the full-day golf and dining experience that I expect for the price.
Fun Course
Had a great time golfing here. Lots of fun and challenging holes. Green had a lot of action, but not to
fast to make it difficult. The only downside was pace of play, took over 5 hrs to play (only one beverage cart, which we saw once).
Very nice tight track
The course was very well kept with good green and neat fairways.
Very enjoyable and a solid design with very few blind shot angles. Nothing given away and nothing unreasonable.
Great Find on GolfNow
What a pleasant surprise to find such an excellent course at a great price
Great Place to Play
The on-course restroom was an oversized port-a-potty with no running water. That is the worst thing I can say about this course. They have a grass driving range, there was a respectful martial on the course to keep the pace of play steady and the price was great. The course itself was challenging but fair and very well maintained. If I were from that area I would definitely make that a course of regular play!
Not a fan… especially when some 12 year old in the pro shop tells me it’s mandatory I ride in a cart with someone
I get things are busy on Father’s Day, but showing up an hour early to golf is something I do, so I can hit the range and warm up… well walking in and being told I have to ride with someone, without any regard for COVID or my health(who knows who you golf with, and let alone, having to be breathed on by someone who may not be vaccinated) I was told, Initially I could grab a cart with whomever they forced me to ride with, 20 minutes before my tee time after I just bought a large bucket of balls for the range… “said really, I have a cart bag, the kid behind the counter did get me a ride to the range, but still had to carry my 50lb bag back to the parking lot to ge t a cart… expressed my concernbecause I have had 6 back surgeries and a blown knee, I was told to deal with it... golfing is fine, but I don’t carry this bag and was never told that I would be talked down to by some young mammas boy behind the counter… the round??? Yup, finished 18 in the dark, 6 hours and waited at least 10 minutes a hole… the marshals and the “experienced” folks at the course are solid, but getting talked down to by some arrogant baby in the club house, sets a horrible tone…. This kid seemed more interested in getting attention from the girls behind the bar…. Thank god the guy they forced me to ride with was decent and didn’t cough or sneeze on me, but who the heel demands that we are forced to sweat with, be breathed and sneezed on to play golf??? Course was fun when we could actually hit, and not have to wait, sometimes we had to wait for three foursomes before we could tee off…, The young kid in the pro shop needs a lesson in respect and honestly could care less if I play there again, as we play about 60 rounds a summer… I am successful, know why golf means and have the means to play anywhere, if you think I will be talked down to by some arrogant child who still lives with mommy, you have me mistaken….. again, course may have been great if we didn’t have to wait 10 minutes to tee off on every hole and they didn’t have some little child, acting like a big man in the pro shop… sick and tired of thes courses who take money, and deliver a terrible experience justified by some kid who lives with mommy… this place has completely overbooked and delivers nothing
Great course with near perfect greens.
Conditions were excellent and the weather cooperates. Bunkers were a little hard but not too bad.
