Friendly and professional greet
I've played this course several times throughout this season,enjoying the challenging play and fast well maintained greens.Worth the drive, I recommend this course to any of of my golfer friends.My hats off to the staff at Lima country club..well done!
Great course, carts are a little rough
We played here on 27 sep 15 and the course was in really good condition, food was good and got it on golf now for a good price. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was our carts were in rough shape. Other than that, friendly staff great conditions and overall great course!

Big ang for your buck
Enjoyed this course. 18 holes with a cart for 15 buck. Can't go wrong. I will be playing again.

greens were verry nice
Everything was great except the pace of play. For a weekend a course ranger or someone to monitor the pace of play is needed. It took 4.5 hours for a threesome to play. Had to wait after every shot as we were backed up on every hole.
We are so sorry that the pace of play today was not to our usual standards. We hope you will give us another chance in the future.

Was a last minute tee time. Very friendly, greens were beautiful. Definitely will get back soon to play the other 18.
Course in great shape
Could be a very easy course but it will can fool you. Some holes were easy followed by difficult holes. Enjoyed playing Charleston 18.
Great Value
Decent course with enough sand and water to keep things interesting. Usually plenty of width to miss the fairway and not end up in too much trouble.

could not find the white tees on 14.they need better directions to the next tee box.the fairway grass was a little long,but greens were great
Fair course, great rate
I have played the Pines course a few times now, and it's always been a great experience. Quite surprised by the small number of golfers on a beautiful day.
Greens are fast, true and receptive.
Courses website is in perfect sync with the LMG site. Tee time was secured immediately and no confusion when we arrived.
Lima Country Club - charleston pines
This is an average course but when it's less than $15 to play 18 with a cart, you can't complain. The course layout is plain and simple and the greens aren't bad but you won't be impressed. The value is what makes this course worth it. The regular rates for roughly 18 and a cart for $30 makes me think twice. I rate it a 5 out of 10 but the value is great through this app.
No food
How does a Country Club not have food to be ordered when you come in from 9 holes. No! I don't want a bag of peanuts for $3. I want a hot dog, some chips and a beer. Then I want to go back and finish my round. Very disappointed.
Course is in rough shape on some holes.
Probably from the very wet spring that we had but several fairways were in pretty rough shape. One hole (16 or 17 - dog leg right over a pond) had no yardage markers. Cart paths could use smoothing out.
this course is fairly wide open
The course is in farm country and is fairly wide open. It really has no distinctive looking holes but is in decent shape, you can play it at a great Golf Now rate and can usually get on with no problem since it's part of a 36 hole complex.

Great deal for this scenic course. Good pace of play. We paired up with a very enjoyable 2some who also used GolfNow! Looking forward to playing there again soon! Memorial Day and the snack bar was closed the only minor complaint.
