It's fall here in CNY. We had a windy, but warm day. The course was in great shape - unlike my game (which had a multitude of problems). Glad we went. It was crowded due to the great weather and holiday weekend. We do not usually play on the weekend, but could not pass up the warm weather.

Home course. Despite the drought here in CNY, the grounds crew have done a GREAT job keeping the course playable. The greens were lightning fast - not used to that. Played from the white tees, which is long for me (67 years old), but I was hitting great. 91 score.

Windy and cold. Made some of the holes VERY tough. Not just the long ones either. Hit a 9 iron on a 145 yd par 3....flew the green 20 yds by.

The back 9 was closed due to green aeration and dressing. Played the front 9 twice. Used my GN credits to lower the price.

First time on the course. They were holding a tournament in the morning. I called ahead and they said it would be OK. It was fine. We played the front in less than 2 hours, but then got slowed down on the back. Course was in decent shape considering 1) tournament running before us 2) stormy weather the few days before. Greens were tough for me. AND there were big holes in spots. Pro shop said it was due to geese (?) and their maintenance guy couldn't get to them due to the tournament. Will try the course again. It is only 30 minutes from home. But they are not with GN.

Tough course, for me at least. Some fairways are a bit narrow. Tree lined so there is an opportunity to lose balls. Whites are just a bit too far, yellows just a bit too close. But that is for me.

This course is wide open - few trees on the edges. There are sand bunkers both in the fairways and around some of the greens. No fairway irrigation, so they were a bit dry - but good for run out! Great view of the lake too on #17.

Used 4 discount codes, one for each of us, for a total of less than $60. Great course. It is my "home" course. Today I played from the whites. A bit too far for me - 6380 yds.

Went with a friend. We have been trying to get together for years, but his work schedule always got in the way.

Played the regular men's tees with him - he is a kid - just 57, ten years younger than I. Still scored pretty well for an old man.

Played it often. Interesting design: 3 par 3's, 3 par 4;s and 3 par 5's on the front and then again on the back nine holes. Have to use all of your clubs due to hazards (see RAVINE) and ponds.

Had not played the course for a while as they had raised their prices. But now they have $20 seniors with cart! Glad to play it again. Always liked the course, even though I have to drive from Camillus to get there. Get to use all my clubs due to the layout, which makes it nice.

Great course. Always is very good shape; fairways, greens, etc. Sand traps were a bit wet from the storms last night.

Camillus HIlls is basically my home course. Javi always does a great job, and this is especially true now, even with limited players.

Many will avoid this course as the yardage is only 5K. But it is not an executive course. I played it like one, using the upper tees so I could play with my wife and father in law.
The course can be very tough - sand bunkers everywhere, rolling fairways - not the usual flat terrain of Florida. FAST greens, in very good condition.
I would play it again, probably from the white tees.

The course was very good, again. We only get to play here 1-2 times a year when visiting my son in Gainesville. The course is challenging, especially for me today. I should have used the GREEN tees and not the GOLD. 6455 is too long for me - especially for my first time out this season. Staff was great, from check in to Ranger to cart helper.

Never heard of the course before. Some of the holes seemed long for a Par 4 (some well over 400 yds), which made it tough to reach in regulation. Greens were in great shape, but dry. Ball did not "stick" despite my usual high lofted approaches. Fairways were dry too, but that allowed for some good run out. The course does NOT, I repeat, does NOT accept credit cards. Be sure you have cash!

Weather was great until we hit the 14th - then the storms hit. Fortunately we were able to get off before. Course is in great shape - there are some places roped off as they did some drainage work and need to let the grass grow back in.

We had played this course a few years ago. Still like it. We played on a Saturday, which is unusual for us. So the price was a bit higher. Course was in great shape, despite the torrential rains all spring. Two holes are killers; 15 - par 3, over a sand trap to a left/right green and 16, a tough par 4 as it is a double dog leg with a stream you cannot see from the men's tees that is about driving distance. Then the hole goes uphill to the green.

We have had a LOT of rain in CNY this spring. This course was in great shape. Greens were terrific. A few wet spots, but nothing major.
Staff was great. Thanked us for coming out and playing.
Electric carts with GPS nav built in that was as accurate as my personal one through golf now.
Just a bit more than I usually pay for a round, but well worth it.
